The final jump of Stage 3 separates the men from boys in Sasuke. Which competitor who failed this jump would you put money on winning had they made it? Pick your top 3!
I'd say Bunpei in 13 (he was close in 12) or Nagano in 21 (45 second time limit) have the best odds. I could also see Akiyama getting close in 12, given his rope climbing abilities.

The Gliding Ring was so damn easy Nagano could have had it, AND the Final Stage would be 45 seconds so he'd have won for sure.

Honestly I could vote for about half the entries on this thread in equal measure, but I went with Kong in 23. That man was robbed by the safety rope tangle in 24, to the point that I think he would almost certainly have had a victory with a clear shot.
Outside of that, Nagano in 21, Akiyama in 12, Bunpei in 13 and Takeda (especially in 17) are all also basically straight-shot picks. Morimoto might have done it in 29, but with how he was struggling with some of the obstacles I reckon he might have been too gassed to get a straight shot up the final.
I also want to say Shingo in 5, because the idea of having two revival tournaments back-to-back is hilarious xD

Travis Alan Schroeder in Sasuke 4. That guy would have destroyed final stage tower if he didn't get that pipe off track.

I'll run through all the options here as I could only vote once: - No one from 2 given that their Pipe Slider techniques showed that majority sucked in terms of upper body strength. - Travis Allen Schroeder from 4 could've done it; as I understand he actually cleared the stage (as the second pipe was shown to be at the end of the track and he was dry) then was told he was DQ'd. - Shingo wouldn't have been fast enough given that on his attempt in 7 he was ascending pretty slowly on the Spider Climb before he injured himself. - Takeda: most likely given his rope climbing skills. - Yamada would've been too slow on the Spider Climb I reckon and probably suffer from some kind of mental error as it's Yamada. - Nagano in 9 = no given that he failed the Final three times when he was better prepared - Shinji in 11 = a very strong maybe given his insane upper body strength and speed as shown by his Stage 2 time that tournament. - Akiyama in 12 = almost definitely. His Kanzen in 4 showed how much of an insane rope climber he is, also he's very fast so I think he could've easily won it all for a second time if he'd made the Final. - Bunpei in 13/16 = very likely. He came really close in 12, and given how much he trains on specific obstacles I have no doubt he would've done better if he'd got another shot at the Final Stage. Especially given that his Spider Walk speed and technique in 17 was much better than it was in 11. - Nagano in 21 = we all know how this goes. - Kongu in 23 = not sure. I know a lot of people say that he would've achieved Total Victory if he hadn't got his rope tangled in 24, but he was actually slower than Yuuji by the end of the Heavenly Ladder so it really would've depended on his rope climbing skills. If he was going to achieve Kanzen, he would've done so VERY VERY narrowly within the time frame. - Yusuke in 29 = possibly, given that he achieved Kanzen 2 tournaments later.
Also to add: - Koji Yamada in 16. I know he didn't attempt the jump and failed without moving the bar but given that he's also a firefighter who prides himself on his rope climbing skills, had he got the Devil Balanco figured out in one shot I have no doubt he would've achieved Kanzen that tournament; especially as he was killing the game in 16 in particular.

For me, it is Yamada Katsumi in SASUKE 6. Like I typed before, for me, this is the biggest What If in SASUKE. He wasn't yet to suffer mental problem(s) during this time and actually had train hard for Final Stage *even already attempting Spider Climb when most of people didn't even know what the hell was in Final Stage* only to get ****ed up by Pipe Slider. This is eventually let to his downfall.
