Apologies if it was done before.
Simple question. What is the best Spider Walk version for you? Difference between Version 4 and Version 5 is in Spider Drop.
I personally pick Version 2, because it goes well with Second Stage being short but speedy stage.

I put 7-17 but I’d say 5-6 is a close second for me.
1-4 was just too long and it took up literally half of Stage 2; I would’ve liked some more variety. 28 onwards is just boring with no moving panels; and the Spider Drop was cool when it was introduced but like most of Stage 2 nowadays is just stale and overused.
7-17 I think was iconic but 5-6 I also think adheres to the ‘short and sweet’ idea of Stage 2, which is why I couldn’t decide for a while. I only went with 7-17 because it forces you to go up, then forwards, then downwards, so requires a lot more control and technique than just going forwards like with the other versions. 5-6 had lots of moving panels though which also made it interestingly tricky.

5-6 had lots of moving panels though which also made it interestingly tricky. That 'lots' is actually just two panels from the five 😂. But, yeah, Version 3 require more technique than Version 2. However, it was a bit too long in my opinion. And Jumping Spider is not Spider Walk. Sorry.

Oh right, my bad haha for some reason it looked like they all moved.
Version 3 I don't think was too long; it only felt that way for the first few tournaments because the time limit was way too high so the competitors naturally took a long time to apply spray and went really slowly. When the time limit was shortened to 65-70 seconds, competitors would either have to go fast as f*** or time out. That and the Chain Reaction were brutal time wasters which I loved about the course.

Oh right, my bad haha for some reason it looked like they all moved. It looks like it because the panels weren't straight, it actually going up like in Spider Climb on Original Spider Walk. Only second and fourth panel moving.

The jumping portion, while cool, doesn't count as an actual portion of the 'Spider Walk'.
And if we're talking about the actual spider walking portion of the Jumping Spider, it's by far the worst (on par with SASUKE 28-29 which was basically the same thing) with no moving panels and basically just having to go horizontally.

I would say the 7-17 version was the optimal one, but I really like the moving panels in 5-6 so I voted for that xD
I also like the current one - I know a lot of people think it's outdated/slow, but Spider Walk is one of those obstacles I have a real soft spot for, I'd be sad if it got taken out completely

Whew, look what we got here.
Simple question. What does SASUKE call it? Is it Spider Walk? NO. SASUKE called it JUMPING SPIDER. NOT SPIDER WALK, NOT JUMPING SPIDER WALK. If you don't like it, protest to the producers, not me. I don't have the job of naming the obstacle(s).
Jumping Spider IS NOT Spider Walk and will never be considered as a version of Spider Walk. Hell, you even comment on a post that NOT mention Jumping Spider at all. ****ing stubborn. If I see you still trying to force it called Spider Walk..., well, **** you.
Spider Drop make the Spider Walk shortened. I never consider Spider Drop as part of Spider Walk, but it affect the Spider Walk, hence the difference in version.

Woah guys calm down. It’s a discussion not an argument.
I think if we’re going to be fair though if the Jumping Spider doesn’t count then neither should the Spider Drop.

I enjoy Version 1 cause it was really the make it or break it of the stage and easy to mess up if you rushed it. Versions 2 and 3 were pretty good, TBH I'm not really a fan of Versions 4 and 5, too basic.

arguing over an obstacle, nice...
also if they replace the current version with the 2nd gen spider walk, but keep the spider drop intact instead of a firemans pole, I think it would be a good upgrade.
