This is a topic I've brought up a few times and I figured that after this season it would be appropriate to bring in up again. Do you think the regional episodes of ANW would benefit from having a time limit on the course? Between the qualifiers and Top 30 (aka regional finals) we watch this course style for 12 weeks while the traditional Sasuke style only airs for 3 weeks. What are your thoughts? You can use whatever reason you want to justify yourself.

Honestly, I think Qualifiers should have a time limit, but for the Finals, don't have a "time limit" per se, but limit the amount a person can rest in between each obstacle. Cut down on the unnecessary celebrating between early obstacles.

They actually do limit the amount of time you can rest between obstacles. The problem is that it's up to "director's discretion".

I think qualifiers should have a time limit, but the final 4 obstacles in the city finals shouldn't, since it's basically a mini-Stage 3 course.

I think there should be no time limits in Qualifiers or City Finals

I don't really see the point of a time limit just because if your doing farthest the fastest it's not really going to matter anyway. Unless the time limit is so strict you can't stop in between it will just keep people from resting for ridiculously long periods of time and the only people doing that are the people the producers allow. So I just think they should be more official about it and have a visible clock at every obstacle that starts when a competitor touches the pad in between obstacles. If that clock gets to zero with you not on the next obstacle, you get eliminated. The only sticky situation is the warped wall but people shouldn't be failing that anymore. Even at 14,6 it's still not steep enough to be an actual challenge.

No for qualifiers, but then on the finals you do a time limit for the qualifying section and no time limit past the warped wall
