right, then. I've been trying to be more involved, posting more, discussing more, rather than just talking to yam about music in PMs and I know I've made more than 22 posts, but my post count and user level haven't moved since like august, afaik.
edit - nvm. it's based on topics not posts, I think. since my number just went up one when I posted this topic, but hasn't on the last 40 or so replys to other topics. great. now I feel dumb.

Posting in the spam forum and NON-EXISTANT FORUM WHERE NOTHING OF NOTE GOES ON does not increase post count, Looking at your posts a lot of your activity is in THE SUBFORUM THAT DOESN'T EXIST NOTHING THERE

Your post count is entirely dependent on posts, not threads - however we do have certain sections, like the Spam section, where post count does not increase when posted there. There are other sections where this rule also applies, and like Rider said, it seems most of your posts are in an area where post count does not increase.
