Sure, Sasuke/ANW obstacles are not designed for looks alone, but some look really sleek and cool. Some of my favorites in terms of looks are the Invisible Ladder, the Spin Cycle, the Silk Slider, the Big Dipper, and the Circuit Board The worst/ugliest include the UCH, the Bar Hop, the Tilting Table, and the Wall Drop.

I dunno, but I think the Double Helix looks good enough

I agree with Invisible Ladder. Also Jumping Spider, Sonic Curve, Warped Wall, Flying Squirrel, Coin Flip, Floating Boards, and Flying Bar look good.

Invisible Ladder is one of the all-around best obstacles in my opinion. Sasuke and ANW both included.

Show has the ugliest and most uninspired obstacles for the qualifiers/city finals. Obstacles are just an analgemation of a bunch of clashing objects half the time. That bungee one with the pipes is a pretty good example. So is the Wall Drop (I was there when they built it; at first they had an ugly arrangenent of atomik holds leading up to the wall, and then they changed it to white pipes, haha because why not GRIP OBSTACLES RIGHT??) And it's really exilerhating watching the competitors take them on for minutes at a time because there's no time limit.
Vegas is good. I liked how the Log Grip, Flying Squirrel, and the 2nd to last obstacle in Stage 2 which is escaping my brain currently looked. Jumping Spider over the blue water is kinda pretty too. Some obstacles are dumb as hell in both appearance and function (the Wall Flip -- beyond inferior to the Wall Lift in function and has a platform to climb up at the end because why not, and the Spin Bridge replacement in Stage 1, which is just such a random configuration how is it an impressive and clever obstacle? It's not) Pre-28 Sasuke had a much simpler design, with a fraction of the budget and quality, but I think I like both Midoriyamas equally.
Overall ATS lacks creativity most of the time. They have their moments, but usually it's just le upper body sapping obstacle in a random configuration so it can be tough. In turn the obstacle just looks bad aesthetically and symmetrically.

The 2nd obstacle in stage one is my fave. Think it's called the propeller bar ...it's a beautiful obstacle to watch and looks pretty cool .

I thought cannonball alley was one of the best looking.

AT LEAST IT'S SIMPLE. Seriously, atomik holds may be unoriginal, overused and overall boring, but at least they're simple enough to look nice. Unless you somehow mess THAT up. Although messing atomik holds' simplicity up IS an art in itself...

Guys, cannonballs being used for Ninja obstacles was a fairly unusual practice back in 2014. Of course now, we see multiple balls hanging in every ninja gym. But back then it was a simple and aesthetically interesting obstacle.

Even if Cannonball Alley was a bit simple and unoriginal, it was something we'd never seen before at the time. Besides, it did kinda start the whole "killer obstacle that takes out pretty much everyone" trend.

that "killer obstacle that takes out pretty much everyone" trend would be nice if it was like every 3 years or so. oh well, this thread is about nice looking obstacles.
hmm
i like the flying shelf grab, big dipper, floating tiles... basically anything that is blue and red only.

The clacker was also a really cool looking obstacle. The curved body-prop this past year looked awesome as well. But I do agree with others the Invisible Ladder was the best looking.

I always liked the ANW cargo nets, especially at night under the lights.

Okay from all the city finals I would go with the clacker. ... from stage 1 I would go with the propeller bar ...stage 2 is easily the double wedge ....stage 3 is the curved body prop.

I like the look of the Pipe fitter (Come at me) the Clacker, the Spin cycle and the Fly Wheels. From vegas: The Flying Squirrel, The Keylock Hang, and the Wall flip when it looks like there is no obstacle there .
