So I'm considering to make a Log Grip for my backyard training course. I already have some plans for the track, now I'm concentrating on the log. Which one of these do you think would be a good item to use for the log?
- A regular log with handholds drilled in
- A barrel with handholds drilled in
- A punching bag with handholds drilled in
- Something else

I would do the punching bag or a plastic barrel. That way when you jump off and it were to hit you, it wouldn't hurt as bad haha. Just a thought. Put some pics up if you do it. Sounds really cool!

If there's some kind of core and it's not hollow the plastic barrel is probably your most accurate bet, real log would be too solid and splintery and the punching bag would give. You don't dig into it but you don't want something too rough, like maybe if the plastic barrel gives maybe put something around the actual log and go with that instead but it's a smooth surface, and you don't dig into it but it feels like there's a small bit of relief, I don't want to say give since that's not the case, but it definitely isn't rock hard although it's still very solid and you really feel it hit you with the drops. That's my experience with the one in Pittsburgh for ANW7, I have 0 experience with the Sasuke one obviously but based on footage it looks pretty similar. Maybe reallifeninja can answer in regards to the Sasuke version
