Nagano is the least likely of the All stars to be done. In fact he's got a score to settle.

Nah he's not done. He's emotionally charged and like 19 he allowed his emotions to get the best of him. None of his friends made it and he saw 9 people before him who were favored just lose out. That and the fact that he was already out of shape from the videos we saw of him earlier. He has much more pressing things in his life. The past 6 months have been a whirlwind of change in his life. I figure he will refocus and come back better. So long as the show endures he will get back and improve. Besides.. he always sucks in the Spring event.. dude doesn't like the cold. P.S. He was technically 36 for Sasuke 22

Nope. He's in that troubling time before the big moment. I think with the ladder and rope with 45 seconds, he's going to get another one.
And like someone else pointed out and I checked and found out, The rope broke when Nagano grabbed it.

Well I'm sure most people might but Nagano takes his failures well. In fact he disqualified himself on the Cliffhanger in 18.

Did he really? I thought the announcers said something about how he grabbed it thus he was disqualified. Hmm.. But anyway, I doubt Nagano is finished. He's not going to give up since he fell from a new obstacle. Not like that anyway. Besides, I see it like this. As long as Takeda continues, I think Nagano will continue.

I think Nagano should take his rightful place among Yamada's side as a crying baby who can't even pass the damn first stage anymore.
Arsenette's gonna rip me a new one.
Nah, he's not done in the least. Like I said, the rope snapped when he grabbed it. That wasn't his fault, the man has a grip of steel and if the rope wouldn't have gone, he would have beaten the stage, we all know it.
In fact, he probably learned not to rely on only one hand from here on out. Get both hands, and as many feet as possible on that rope. I guarantee TBS knows what happened and will never let it happen again, but Nagano now knows the obstacle and how to prevent disaster ever again. Like the announcer said on 21, 'Here comes the man who never makes the same mistake twice!'

Hey, don't diss on Shingo. He's just terribly uncoordinated... lol
And what's all this about the rope snapping?

If you watch close on Nagano's run, watch his right hand as it grabs the rope. It's definately not the best quality, but the rope kinda washes out in the pic in the background of the sky. He clearly grabbed the rope, but it literally broke in his hand. No other hand or foot was in the rope so he just didn't have a chance to recooperate.

That's what it looks like... but I doubt it Sam. There are other parts of the rope that you can't see because of the light, and that could be the same deal with the rope he was trying to grab onto.
There are other parts of the rope missing from the pic, see on the right side? I think we're just jumping to conclusions.
The fact is he didn't do good on the obstacle. Almost everyone else got a better distance than him. many got 2 hands on the rope.
If he did get 2 hands on it, the weight would've been more evenly dispersed, and even if it still broke he'd have another hand to still hold onto it. It wasn't the obstacles fault, Nagano lost fair and square. Just deal with it.
It's not his fault either, people make mistakes, sometimes just not as much as others. So when nagano fails everyone has to find an excuse for him. Don't worry about it. He lost, so what? So did every other all-star.

Lol why are we underesimating him.
Don't forget, 6 months ago, he would've won Sasuke had it not been for The Gliding Ring sucking. (I think he would've won.)
So just cause the f***'ed up this time, I don't think were going to see an end to him.

Unclesam: You were right, I rewatched his run and I saw it snap. Just bad luck I guess though, he really did a bad job on the obstcale. If he gripped it with 2 hands he could've made it.

Well what about in sasuke #Ican'tremember when the rolling log went off the tracks? Those guys didn't get a redo. I think it's like if a real ninja were doing it, and the rope snapped or the log went off the tracks, they would have to ninja themselves out of the situation.

No, I say Nagano's not done yet. Like someone said, he'll be looking for revenge next time.
