Wasn't sure exactly where to put this, so I decided the general ANW board would be best, considering who it involves. Apparently, Matt Iseman is going to be competing on Celebrity Apprentice in the upcoming season. Wonder if that will give ANW a boost, considering the ratings that Celebrity Apprentice tends to get.

Agreed on where to put it IMO. I expect it will give ANW a huge boost and bring a whole new audience especially since he is announced as "host of American Ninja Warrior". He's done a lot over the years so it was important to read the article and notice that indeed he is promoting ANW on another show. Good find!

This may be the first time I'll watch the Apprentice since probably 2006, just for Matt

I watched that show couple of times a few years back. Too much drama. For winning it seems that it's all about who you know for helping you raise money. So when the time comes to call people for big donations who is Matt gonna call? Ninjas are working class people he better have other connections Maybe he'll call Isaac Caldiero since he won the million.

Iseman just posted a pic on Facebook, some sort of leg injury. I wonder if it's related to Celebrity Apprentice.

I was actually quite impressed by Iseman in the first episode. He made a good impression, for sure

Been catching up on the last three episodes in time for tonight's finale. Matt is in the final two! I'll have some thoughts later, but for now... Natalie Duran spotted again while Matt gives his behind a workout... Attachment DeletedMatt jumping for joy while dressed as a wizard... Attachment Deleted

Matt Iseman is The New Celebrity Apprentice! He never lost as project manager, winning twice, three times counting the finale. He was never chosen to go back to the boardroom to fight except when there were two members left on each team, so that was by default. He was definitely underdog in terms of celebrity status going in. We got to see different sides of him and his versatility. Matt's a pretty cool dude. I liked that only one challenge before the final was decided on money raised, and that was close. Some of the double eliminations were surprising. The boardroom scenes felt off at times, like they had to cut a lot. Arnold did have some inspirational and encouraging things to say, and there were some funny moments as well. An interesting yet short scene at the end of last week's episode, Boy George (final two) needed a keyboard player to finish up his song, but the guy production sent in wouldn't listen and kept changing things and making it difficult to work with. BG left the room and off-camera started yelling at the producer, basically alluding to or calling out the drama as if they wanted him to go back out and clash with the dude some more, then threatening to leave the show if they didn't send in someone reasonable. I liked this because even though this is a reality show and producers like to have drama, your finalists will have none of it because it's still a competition and they need to get work done. Another ANW sighting - Nicholas Coolridge and Travis Brewer performed during Matt's final presentation. We only saw a glimpse during a promo, and nothing else from their performance was shown during the episode. Attachment Deleted

Oh yay more ratings for ANW but then again I don't even know the show, being Canadian.
Seems interesting, I'll check it out.

Grats to him. I realize it's TV, and the "Reality" in Reality TV usually means the exact opposite, but he seems like a truly genuine dude.

Yeah Matt is a nice guy, can't say quite the same about his commentary lol too OTT for stuff like this. I'd rather see him commentate on Poker...or even better get the WSoP commentators to do ANW! LOL
