What is the proposed timeline for Season 2? Put links to applications, etc. I'm more curious than anything and depending on my schedule I may put a blurb on my blog.

Closing date for applications is 10th July.
Auditions will be held in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow and Belfast (or at least that the choices in the application form)
People have started getting emails for auditions already for Glasgow (30th June I think), at the moment I haven't seen anything else regarding filming dates, tho if it follows a similar timescale to series 1, it won't be long after auditions finish that people get "the call" to say they've been chosen, and filming was only a week or so later .

I've just about finished my application, need to add a brief bit of me talking to camera saying "Hi", and fill in a few of the questions on the form (god I hate that stuff!). Planned to submit it tonight, but will have to be tomorrow. Then it's the waiting game again.
Which audition location(s) did you pick UnrealCanine? I don't think anyone has had emails for Manchester yet at least.
Likewise, I'm hoping 2nd attempt gets me in.

People have started getting audition emails for Manchester, it's on 10th July. I hadn't even had the automated "application complete" email yet (finally submitted it this morning at about 01:00 !), nothing filtered into the email folder I've setup so anything from etribez goes to it...
then... Inbox...
!!!!! Audition!!!!!! Then my heart sank as I checked my work calendar, clash of dates that I would probably not be able to get out of (I'm working on systems that are part of the big new venue almost complete in Birmingham for Genting Casinos , next to NEC arena).. emailed my boss, and the dates have changed!! So, just got to have a 'chat' tomorrow to get my day off booked, then I should be clicking the confirmation link tomorrow ! I'm flitting between buzzing, nerves and apprehension at getting the day off work!

Congrats on getting an audition, I'm confirmed for Sat 11th at Manchester. First auditions have been happening today, a few posts in the "Ninja Warrior UK Applicants" group on Facebook, request to join it if you haven't already (it's a closed group). Sounds like it's similar to what people had for series 1, someone today said, "running, wall running and a mini obstacle course, plus making a short video" (I think that will be the 2 minute piece to camera it mentions in the audition information). That's the bit I haven't got a clue about,at least with the challenges, someone says "do this," or "get from A to B " and you try your best.. I'm alternating between excitement and "what do I do!" moments Can't wait !

Advice I always give in everything. Remember it's a TV show so they are also looking for personality, friendliness and drive. Don't go out of your way to be energetic but be aware that this is a casting process above anything else. Also, remember this was sparked because of huge fan interest so be sure to welcome every potential ninja and enjoy the process by meeting new people and share your passion for this extremely niche show. Just have fun, present yourself in the most positive way and enjoy the experience. If you make it great! If you don't, be happy you made a whole new set of friends.

Perfectly put arsenette There's been a lot of support for everyone applying already in the FB group, and as people have got auditions, a lot of "congratulations", "good luck" etc ,and encouragement for those who haven't heard yet (still 10 days until closing date for applications). As I didn't get an audition the 1st time around, I'm obviously even more happy I have this time, and equally know what it feels like waiting to here when others have already. Pretty damn good bunch of people in the community as a whole, but then we know that already from this place Obviously I'll be gutted if I don't get onto the show itself, but I'll still have made it a step closer than last time, and as you said, met even more like minded people ontop of those I already 'know' (in so far as on FB or here, )

Hope your audition went well today Jonto, I have mine tomorrow at 14:00 (managed to get it rearranged). Really looking forward to it, even tho I'm sure the nerves will jangle a bit come the actual time.. Everyone so far has been saying how great the production crew have been and pretty much everyone has said they enjoyed it, so fingers crossed I'm the same Then it's a waiting game

Well, that's the audition done, back home safe and sound. Was a good experience, the production crew (as people have already said) were fantastic, very relaxed atmosphere for the whole thing and made everyone feel at ease, even the dreaded 2 mins piece to camera seemed to go quickly.
I was by no means anywhere near the fastest/strongest etc there, but the challenges did test different types of ability which was good. The balance type test I was fine with (and I think wearing my Tabi boots definately helped with the 'feel' for it). Won't go into detail until it's all done and dusted tho.
Now we have to wait, cutoff date for getting told we're in is 10th August, after that I haven't made it...going to be a long month !!!

I may be a bit late to the party if people have already heard, but for any Ninja Warrior fans living in the UK this is exciting news! If you want to be in the audience for Ninja Warrior UK Season 2, applications just recently opened. All you have to do is go to LostInTV.com, create an account and request them... so far only one taping session is fully booked. It seems like there are many still available as I applied for 3 for each of the days Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and got a reply hours later! It was much easier than a thought to be honest. Hopefully it'll be a cool experience...
In case you're wondering, it is once again at Manchester Central, and taping between Monday the 17th and Friday the 21st of August this year...

You'll enjoy it I went to both semi's and the final for series 1 and it was great, if a little tiring (non stop cheering, shouting and clapping as I tried to give everyone running the course as much encouragement as I could). Take plenty of drinks in with you, partly for hydration, partly for the voice ! and some munchies, but bear in mind that it will have to fit under your seat.

Tickets released for season 2. Heats take place week commencing Monday 16th August, 5 days of 2 hour tapings beginning at 2pm and 5:30pm. Then they will probably release more tickets for the semi finals and then the final which I assume will be the week after or the weekend This means based on last season the programme will begin airing in September/October ^^ Edit: Also it is inside again this year at the same place as last year *shakes fist*. This means it is likely we will have a very similar course just with a few new obstacles. Also if anyone can get in touch with the course designers/testers (Perry?) TELL THEM TO FIX THE GOD DAMN SALMON LADDER!!!

Awww man I wish they would do regionals like ANW instead of all in one venue. It just doesn't work.

For the record Perry doesn't read SMF anymore. *Shakes fist* tbh I expect it to be fixed for next time or at least the Stage 2 time limit to be increased to 90 seconds from 75, all the competitors were pretty annoyed about Stage 2's shoddy build in NW:UK Season 1. Also hopefully someone makes the god damn "Miska Cliffhanger" (I call it this because he tested the one in NW:Sweden and apparently he was the one who insisted it was built with the drops at the end, although it is still the ANW Cliffhanger so it isn't as hard as it first seems) and maybe even the final stage ^^
