Confused. Is the final stage tower order from tallest to shortest: Sasuke 30, ANW 6, Sasuke 27? I'm pretty sure ANW 6 was 77 feet and Sasuke 27 was 66 feet. What was Sasuke 30? Or is some of this incorrect? The truth is the towers are all about the same height in Sasuke 27 if you watch it they have the stairway to "heaven" leading up to the rope climb which reduced the length of the rope climb but the towers themselves are the same hight.

Yeah 27 was only shorter because they added that ridiculous ladder thing. But for the most part it's all about the same height. The current one in Sasuke is listed as 24 meters (12 spider and 12 rope) = 78.74 feet. Edit: LMFAO TY Ralf. Geez.. 258 feet.. ahahahahahahhaa
As for vaughn's question. I used to love both! Only when NBC decided it liked to play loose with rules affecting competitors did I stop watching. I still have hang ups with both shows but when I talk to Inui I at least see reasoning. When I hear NBC (or lately, talk to producers on social media) it's clear they have no intention of changing because they see ANW as a separate thing and they prefer that format. So based on that I'm all in on Sasuke and won't ever be going back to watching ANW unless the Japanese are there. I still support the athletes that go. Hell. By now half of SMF are part of ANW and I feel bad for them because NBC decided to shaft them by taking away the option of doing them at the same time.

What got me was that a producer on ANW said that the only reason the competitors aren't allowed is because they have that arbitrary "can't appear elsewhere for x amount of time" rule that reality competitions/game shows have. He actually said if you haven't appeared on at least ANW4, you're in the clear, when there's no way that's correct. Their own producers don't know the embargo. Then again, we're never going to lift the Cuba embargo but that's politics...I just see a slight similarity.
I was really cheering on Drew in 30. Would have loved the unreasonable (on NBC's part) shitstorm if Drew had gotten past Stage 3.

The fact that they are holding them hostage then play coy by saying they are not is the part that infuriates me. We all know that TBS had to ask NBC for permission (and that's still the case) so for them to say "oh just chose" when in the past it wasn't like that (and then come up with some ridiculous story about taxation an legitimacy). It's infuriating.

And you're not alone in that venture. At the same time, NBC won't notice because they have a constant flow of wannabe athlete bro douches. Everybody wins.

ANW's Tower of a single rope was touted as 77 feet.. ooooooooooh a hahhahaha lemme fix that. LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why do you think it wasnt 77 feet? Ive seen this a few times, with people saying it wasnt that height - people who werent there, and never touched it. But im 99.9 percent sure it was 77 feet in ANW6 - and 100% sure it is 75-76 feet in ANW7.
