So I don't want this to be sappy and long winded, and I debated on whether to make one of these at all. Now that Sasuke 30 is past and ANW6 is wrapping up it's probably time I say this. Essentially I am making an effort to greatly reduce the time I spend on the internet. That means I will not visit a lot of the sites/forums that I currently go to. My youtube subscriptions went from roughly 100 down to 20. Even the sites I will still go to I hope to sort of step away from, and that includes SMF. Let's be honest though, even though I have the 3rd highest post count - I havn't really been all that active. Even if I read a lot of the discussions I havn't really been participating or posting much in the last year. I sort of have this OCD thing where I have to read every single new post and it wasted a lot of time. That's why I made a thread about the mark all forums option, because with that I can sort of circumvent that.
Now it doesn't mean I'll be gone completely, I'll still come by and there are still some sections I like to post in (general talk). I just wanted to let you guys know because I've gotten close to a few of you over the years and I didn't want to just completely disappear without saying anything like some members in the past have. This isn't goodbye, just a general explanation of why I havn't been posting a lot and how that will continue or even become less.
The main reason for this is that I am becoming increasingly busy in life and there are things I really need/want to do. For example, on July 17th I am leaving to Hong Kong to teach English for 2 weeks. This is just a small step on my journey and I hope more opportunities like this arise for me. I also need to focus on school in general and getting my bachelors. Since highschool I have been lazy and it's shown in my ANW performances. I'd like to get back into shape, in fact I'd like to be even better than I was before. Along with all of that, I have always yearned to learn the piano. Finally, I do plan to teach around the world in other countries and the first on my hit list is Japan. I should probably make a strong effort to learn Japanese in the coming years.
So anyway that's what I've been up to. I love Sasuke and I love this community, that much hasn't and will never change.
Oh and if anyone wants to keep closer contact with me, you can add me on facebook (can't step away from facebook). I already have some of you on there.
