Alright kiddos, now I'm feeling that Ryan Stratis is gonna go ALL THE WAY. He is a national hero and my personal inspiration, he is the epitome of AWESOMENESS. Now he passed a few obstacles (no pun intended xD) to get to the awesome shape he's in. He's the complete athlete. I heard he squats like a thousand pounds, THAT'S RIDICULOUS. He smashes the competition, especially that wimp David Campbell. David Campbell is more like a cold chicken noodle soup but my boy Ryan is a warm delicious chunky stew. Now that's who I want to be my ninja warrior. What do you fellas think?

Ryan's a great athlete and has lots of potential! Don't call David a wimp though, he trains just as hard as everyone else and he's shown his skills.
My guess would be James, Brent, or Paul being the 1st american ninja warrior

I honestly do think (and hope!) that Ryan Stratis will be the very first ANW!

I think it's really tough to say at this point. I think Stratis has a pretty good shot but we haven't seen a lot of appearances from anybody (even David) in general yet. Before ompleting the course, Yuuji and Nagano both had a number of attempts that is higher than the number of times the full competition was held in the US. I think it is just too early to say at this point.
That being said though, I think David has the best shot just based on his experience with the obstacles as well as the "Sasuke" experience as a whole. There are a lot of guys out there that have then chops when it comes to stage 1 and 2 obstacles but he is the only American competitor I've seen so far that is able to clear stage 3 obstacles (particularly the UCH) with relative ease.
Though back to my main point, I think it is just too early to say. I don't have the info to make a solid prediction at this time. Could be Stratis, could be some random person we have never seen before.

I think the beauty about Sasuke and ANW is that it could be anybody. What people need to understand is that it's not about how cool the obstacles look, it's about ordinary people doing extraordinary things pushing their limits and (no pun intended) confronting every obstacle that you come across. I think for all we know Captain G4 might end up winning.

I'm going with David Campbell. He is the only one that I see getting it right.

I say Brent will do it, if anyone. He really is the complete package to me. He makes things look ridiculous easy.

I would have to say brent . He is the only american that was able to pass the uch in competition . (Not counting usa vs japan ) . I also think he has a greater chance of conquering the final stage . He is a stuntman with great speed . I honestly don't see a guy like david winning It . He may be hotshit in stage 3 but I believe he will bunt out in stage 4 . He is a slow rope climber L¤L .

Brent I don't see him at the top. I see him get tired in stage 3 for a couple more years. He's gotta concentrate more on upper body endurance. He's got the strength but not endurance. David has endurance and strength. But then again. That's just my opinion.

I agree that David has a great shot, although a bunch of you seem to be counting him out because of 2 Stage 3 fails, but really you've never seen him in an ANW stage 3 where it's really untimed, you've only seen Sasuke with a strict 30 seconds to rest. Brent is good but I'm not sure he's really ready for S3 yet (he did improve over his first time though) The funny thing is I would like to see wwe wrestlers in anw . Guys like john morrison ,kofi kingston and sin cara could do well . I dunno if he's ever been in WWE (I don't watch or follow it) but there was a pro wrestler in Baltimore who got cut due to a daytime run, Matt Cross was his name I think, failed the Downhill Jump, most people missed his run since everyone focused on the first clear's interview

I'm not goNna deny davids insane ability . I'm just saying I don't think he will be the first champion . To win he would have to be extremely fast on the rope climb (this is providing the fact he clears s3 ).I just don't see him winning . Guys just think about it deeper and you will understand my logic .

I'm pretty sure David wouldn't fail the rope climb as he practices that. Unlike mostly everyone else they don't practice that.
