What were some of the saddest moments in the broadcast to you? Did any of you cry or tear up a little?
Personally, I was very surprised at the points I cried during. I've never been the biggest Akiyama fan, but some reason I just could not keep it together during his run. To put this into perspective, I didn't even cry at Shingo, Takeda, or Nagano.
Yamada's run had to be the worst though. Even though it wasn't the "saddest" of them all, when I saw him tearing down his rusty old course I just couldn't keep myself together.
Also, the constant panning to Asa whose eyes were completely blood shot certainly did not help.

I've never cried while watching Sasuke.
But same as you, when Yamada tore down his course.
I found Shingo's run to be kinda emotional too, especially when the announcer introduced him.

Shingo. That's what really upset me, seeing him fail like that.

I'm surprised I didn't cry at Shingo. He was the first competitor I learned the name of and started to recognize each tourney - which is no surprise given his attendance and attire.
But he is one of my all time favorites easily, but for some reason it just wasn't as emotional to me. Maybe because shingo is the kind of guy who always walks around with a smirk on his face.

In 28? Akiyama's breaking down at the end of his speech Overall Sasuke? Sasuke 24 Takeda's Spider Flip fail.

I've never actually cried while watching Sasuke, but I've come close a few times.
To be fair, unless I had seen the older tournaments live, in order, and/or in their original formats (and without being aware of the results), I probably wouldn't have cried for any tournaments. Nevertheless, I'm shocked that I didn't cry at all during 28 (and I didn't for 26 and 27 either, though those tournaments weren't as emotional for the most part).

Sasuke 24 Takeda's Spider Flip fail. I remember how painful that was to watch. I didn't find the all star fails that bad this year as i don't hold the same expectations. Plus, i have a feeling they'll be back.

I've never actually cried, but I always feel bad whenever I see Keita in the audience. I wish he would have gotten a chance at Sasuke, but I doubt it'll ever happen.

I didn't cry at this (it's tough to make me cry with these types of things), but Takeda's foot graze on the Rolling Escargot frustrated me and Nagano's Warped Wall was just hard to watch. Ryo's fail on the Passing Wall was upsetting.

I cracked the biggest smile like Nagano did when Yamada finally got up the wall. That was magic. Anybody who didn't effing smile at that needs help!!!
