Also, I am going to guess that none of you have ever picked up an issue of Esquire. It is not quite Spike TV redux. Indeed, it's not. But it is "male-oriented", hence why I said that it is what they wanted. Esquire is a respectable magazine, just with an extra section on women/sex. So, it's not Spike TV 2. I'm not saying anything one way or another until I see what the programming list is. Because, if I get a "Sexiest Women Alive" countdown, I'm more inclined to like it.

I think G4 had an on-demand countdown called "Women of the Web" or something. 14-year-old me was all over that.

But evidently they're still going to keep ANW according to that one press release posted in the ANW5 forum. At least for this tournament

Tonight on NBC had a clip show from ANW 2012, and a mention of prep for ANW 2013, so that's a confirmation.
Also, don't they have enough &^$$%^ing episodes of ANW 2012 already?

Dunno if it's been posted here yet or not, but the G4 forums will cease to exist once they make the switch to Esquire. forums.g4tv.com/announcement.php?f=30I never really thought about this before. I just kind of assumed they'd merge all the posts into an Esquire message board. Kind of weird to think the place that first brought most of us together will be gone in less than a month.

Actually that's kinda sad... I mean honestly I haven't really even looked there in ages despite it still holding status as an always open tab, but so much history is there... :/

I started a goodbye thread: G4 board linkHopefully those who are still interested can come here. Lord knows the Facebook community is.. er.. lacking. I'd like to keep as much of them in the lop as possible so hopefully they will find their way here. Thanks Oti for letting us know that it's going to go away.

Will it still show up on archive.org? Everything shows up on archive.org unless they have some sort of script setup to block that server.

Btw this is the last weekend the G4 boards will exist. If there is anyone that hasn't already come here and you know doesn't know about SMF feel free to invite them here. Most people will think the F&%$book is Sasuke but we know better.. Either way extend an invitation to them as well.

Btw it's pretty much confirmed now that the only holdover was ANW.. and NOT NW.. which makes me sad/angry at the same time. Until TBS releases the monopoly Comcast has you can kiss any American ever being on Sasuke goodbye.

We all should've seen this one coming at the end of ANW4 when they called the Vegas course "Midoriyama" without any reference to the course in Japan.
