Who wins? I got Alabama in a nail-biter.

"Game of the Century" ...can I call bulls**t on this? Like, seriously, this is the 9th game of the year. There are 3 games(then the SEC title game) after this. These two could easily lose before the final BCS standings. And, with the way this season has been going, you need to be unbeaten to be in the Top 5. Let alone the title game. I hate giving games "Greatest" titles before they even start. No, a week prior to the game. Not to mention, a century is a long time. A LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.
In any case, I got the Tide rolling. But LSU will still be in the top 3. Why? Because the BCS is utter bulls**t.

Don't really have a horse in this race but I guess I'll go with the Tide.
My one hope is that whoever does win smashes the loser by a large margin so that we don't have to go through all the rematch talk that came after OSU/Michigan in '06.

Well, I don't really follow football, except for the Haughton Buccaneers, our local high school football team, but since I live in Louisiana, I'm voting for the LSU Tigers.

Well, it wasn't a blow out but I don't think the majority of the press will be clamoring for a rematch of the Field Goal Kicking Contest of the Century now.

ESPN is really glorifying it by saying that defense won it. The fact of the matter is that LSU didn't win it. Bama lost it. This game was terrible.

I agree with Chief. This game was a snore fest. My friend who's going to Alabama next year was like.. "THIS IS WHY SEC FOOTBALL IS SO EXCITING" .. yea it's so exciting because Bama and LSU started out 2 and 3. Bottom Line is that this game sucked. I know, "Defense wins championships" but give me a break. I know the defenses did well, but in all honestly the offenses couldn't get anything going and they had ample opprotunities to do so. I already thought the fact that this game was being called, "The Game of the Century" was enough for me to laugh and call it over rated, but now with ESPN, praise of the game, I want to grab a night stick and push all the commentators into a boiling pot of cow manure. At the end of the day, Bama screwed themselves by kicking field goals with their horrible kicker. If nothing else I hope they exposed some of LSU's fatal flaws, so that in a couple weeks, things can get interesting if Arkansas beats LSU.
One more thing, if this sorry excuse for the best game ever somehow becomes the National Title Game, I will not watch it, and will probably throw up since it'll probably happen. This game, or Oklahoma vs. one of the two will test my gag reflex.

I want to grab a night stick and push all the commentators into a boiling pot of cow manure. Can you tell? Tiger is from the South. But yeah, I see no reason why Alabama is still ranked ahead of Boise. I just don't get it. Or Houston for that matter. BTW, yesterday Keenum set the all-time FBS passing yards record and Kellen Moore set the all-time FBS wins record for a QB. But, nevermind that s**t, you're kicking contest was exciting too.

Neither Boise nor Houston were/are ranked above Alabama because they don't play anybody and thus, haven't proven anything. You don't reward an undefeated team who plays 12 cupcakes by putting them above an Alabama team that plays in the toughest league in the country and lost to the #1 team by a field goal in overtime.
If either of those schools played Bama's schedule, they'd have 2-3 losses at a minimum. Boise generates hype because they beat good teams once or twice a year, either in the season opener or in a bowl game, where they have several weeks to prep and get healthy. It's a different story when you play 7-8 ranked teams a year and you have a week to get ready for them.
