With Beltran to the Giants, and Rasmus to the Jays, how do you think this effects players like Upton, Quentin, Pence, and Soriano (who ive heard in trade offers)? How do you think it effects teams like the Phillies, Braves, Rangers ect... and what moves do you want your team to make? You want them to be buyers or sellers?
Personally, as a phils phan, i want the following to happen:
Dom Brown+Prospect --->Houston for Pence 2 Baby aces + John Singleton ----> San Diego for Heath Bell
then if we have anything left over ----> Chicago for Quentin to platoon with Raul.
I think these are all doable trades. So what about for your team? What do you want to see?

First off, I want Quentin(pronounced by some as chue'-en) to stay put...if anyone, trade Dunn, no hitter with as many PAs as him should be hitting below .180. Quite frankly, the White Sox are fine now, after picking up some much needed pen help, though I would have liked to have kept Action Jackson. Still got 5 starters with Humber, Buehrle, Danks, Peavy, and Floyd.
Also, you're going to see what I just saw on the highlights for this game(Sox game is on now). You will say, "I see why Sox fans don't wanna trade him."

'Cuz he's a good player? I heard the GM wants to blow up the team/ Kenny? Where'd you read that? The team is good, but some players have underperformed, in particular Dunn, Floyd, and Rios(though he picked up speed lately).

Dom Brown+Prospect --->Houston for Pence Never happening. Pence's asking price is monumental. The Pirates have been on the Astros trying to get Pence for the last week and there's been no talks at all because we throw king's ransoms at them and they turn it down. Pence is staying put because the Astros apparently want him for Pujols heads up. :weneedalaughingsmilie: Honestly, I'm ready to boot Huntington (Pirates GM) out of the office and start trading myself. Even if we have been making money the past three years trading 2006 NL batting champion Freddy Sanchez HEADS UP FOR AA PITCHER TIM ALDERSEN *headbash*, we were FINALLY promised that we'd go out and get a good player and instead we get nothing. (Although, I lost the "When will McCutchen get traded to the Yankees" bet) I hopped off the Pirates last year once the money scandal came out. I admit that. They have a chance to buy fans back and they're not doing it. Come August 1, I might have a new allegiance.

How do you expect the White Sox to trade Dunn? Who would want him? Which is the problem. No one is gonna want a .160 hitter in the AL(traditionally a hitter-friendly league) on their own team.

I'd take dunn, if he wasn't expensive and I could use him how the Phils used Matt Stairs.
But this was Pence's askuing price: 1 Baby ace, Singleton, Scott Mathiewson. If you throw in Brown you got your bad for someone who is going to be a good outfield. Brown is nothing special, and never will be. So why not?

Here are two ways to do something with Adam Dunn for the White Sox. 1. Kill him. 2. Get Barry Bonds to eject him with steroids (Even though he already a power hitter), anything he hits will end like this. "Ball hit deep! Stay fair! You can put it on the board! YES!"

Super breaking news:
Ubaldo Jimenez has been traded TO THE CLEVELAND INDIANS.
I'm not kidding.

Super breaking news: Ubaldo Jimenez has been traded TO THE CLEVELAND INDIANS. I'm not kidding. I am so iffy about this trade. I am stoked to get Jimenez, but we're giving up Alex White AND Drew Pomeranz. That's two potential aces of the future right there. We have to get to the playoffs now, or else this whole season has been a failure.

Yeah, Indians fans have been lighting up my Facebook wall anti-trade. I'm shocked - I'd be stoked if Jimenez came to the Pirates and pitching has been the source of our winning ways thus far. Of course, Huntington will do nothing.
