Yeah, Shingo will pass the first stage in Sasuke 25.

It's a toss-up. It seemed like he was getting back to his best game the past 2 tournaments, but then Yuuji went ahead and won the thing, and everything is changed again.
If I was a betting man, I would say he will pass again in 26, but it won't surprise me in the least if he does it in 25.

I hate to be pessimistic, but I'm not expecting him to ever pass Stage 1 for either a while or never again. The course is getting harder and harder and I just don't see him keeping up with it. Sorry Shingo fans.

I think its up to Shingo. He is not THAT old, and its certainly been proven by guys like Okuyama and Sato that you can be a serious contender even in your late 30s and into your 40s. Shingo has the talent, we all know that, the question is does he still have the desire.

Sometimes it is hard to stay motivated for so long. In fact i think this is his biggest challenge more so than his shoulder or "cap" My vote is 25

He cleared in 5's huge overhaul and was close in 18's. If he can keep from making a stupid mistake, he has a good chance.

I think he's going to run out of time in 25, epic fail on one of the first obstacles in 26, but then make it about halfway through stage 3 in 27.

Yamamoto will not pass in 25, it's going to be completely new.

I don't have too much confidence is his ability to deal with new things, but with his potential (barring dumb mistakes) he could make it in 26.

I think in 25 he will fail due to obstacles being new. 26 he will fail due to an innocent mistake that could happen to anyone 27 will be a typical shingo fail. 28 he will clear.

Maybe Shingo might almost make it to the end of the 1st stage (like in 18) but then I dunno something happens and he fails. He could possibly lose some time on an earlier obstacle.

I just hope he ain't gonna try it on a hurt shoulder, and possibly injure himself for life, just to keep up his perfect attendance. I think he should set out this one and heal, come back stronger for the next one.
