As a lifelong Cleveland sports fan, I take great joy in seeing the people of New Orleans finally getting their Championship.
I like the Colts, but I can't feel sorry for them when they just won a ring 3 (?) years ago.

This all happend while I was asleep but I recorded it and watched it before i went to school . (After fast forwarding through all the breaks and half time I managed to watch the whole 60 minute game in 50 minutes LOL) I was sooo happy when the saints won as I HATE the colts (pats fan here), and laughed my a** off when peyton threw that interception for a touchdown. And most importntly I get to make fun of my cousin who is HUGE colts fan.

As one of the 2 diehard Ravens fans on the site, (Rider the other), we were of course both thrilled to see the colts lose as well

I was pulling for the Saints as well and was happy to see them do it! The Colts had their day a few years ago but one can only wonder what'll happen to Peyton...heh.
I'm more of a Giants fan than a Jets fan but I was really hoping that the Jets would've made it there, but alas. At least the Saints gave the Colts a taste of their own medicine!

I was thrilled to see those stupid colts lose, I have been tortured for the past three years here at my school (in South Carolina which is a WTF) for being a Patriots fan, and I've been called a bandwagon fan, all of that, well I'm still a fan, and all these "Colts Fan" (we have a major following here at my school) are all jumping off the bandwagon and saying Peyton sucks and I'm just laughing so hard. I think it's great Peyton ended the game that way, the colts needed a taste of there own medicine, they were getting a little bit to cocky. As for the Saints, storybook ending to a storybook season

I was pretty happy the Saints won as well. I actually told one of my friends back in week 6 when the Saints were undefeated and were destroying opponents that I thought they would win the Super Bowl ;D. Although I did feel kind of bad for Dwight Freeney though. I mean you go out and play on a really bad ankle and you don't win. That's gotta suck. But I'm still happy the Saints won .

Glad the Saints won.
As a Bears fan, I hold a grudge against the Colts for what they did to the Bears in 2006.
In other news, most viewers EVER. Beat out the MASH finale. 106.57 million people for the Super Bowl, 105.9 viewers for the MASH finale. And the commericals were good.
I forgot this, Tim Calishaw on the show Around the Horn said that the viewer record will stand until Game 7 of the Washington Capitals-Chicago Blackhawks that's coming up. I agree.

I always wonder how they get those numbers...
Like, is that how many T.V's are tuned into the channel? Because that's not even close to the actual number of people watching if that's the case.
At my super bowl party there was a good 30 people. Since many many people have them, wouldn't that drastically increase the # of viewers?

Viewership is a dirty little secret because of how fake it is. Less so now than before, but there's still "fuzzy numbers", IMO. In the old days: AC Neilsen mailed out these TV Guides with no listings, and individuals had to fill them out (in 15 minute intervals) with what they were watching, and return them after, I think, a weeks worth of TV. I had two opportunities to do it, never quite finished either one . Nowadays? Your cable box, network-aware TiVO, or other digital TV device (no, not DTV converters though) sends TV tuning data to the cable company, which is in turn sent to AC Neilsen, in an anonymous/aggregated forum. I don't know if TiVO sends them directly to Neilsen, or to some TiVO aggregation site pool, which is then sent to Neilsen. Probably the latter.

I honestly don't care that much at all about spectator sports (I didn't even watch this Super Bowl ), though I was glad to see a team who never even reached the Super Bowl before end up winning it. Other than that, the only thing I really care about relating to the Super Bowl is the commercials, which I'll just check up on Youtube or something like that. ;D

Just came across this neat little video (unless you were rooting for the Colts).
