Not a discussion really.. Nothing really was changed about it.. Which is kind of my question.. Without the Stick Slider in Stage 2.. Why did the Salmon Ladder bar still have stoppers?

They could still technically be useful for the salmon ladder itself, just not as much. Besides, I thought it was to add extra weight to the bar.

Maybe in case they were slanted because they only got one side up, the stoppers would keep the bar from sliding and smashing their hand into the side?
Or they just decided to re-use the same bar for convenience since they know the bar from the last one worked (not that it matters... it's a long metal stick so not much to malfunction there)?

Nagano 18 Koji 19 If those were fine it wouldn't be a problem Or they just decided to re-use the same bar for convenience since they know the bar from the last one worked (not that it matters... it's a long metal stick so not much to malfunction there)? That makes more sense

Extra weight (as little as it may be) and convenience. That's all. I didn't even know the Stick Slider was gone. I jumped into the competition during the end of the third stage. Am I whining about spoilers? No.

That's because you don't care about spoilers, some people do. Don't flatter yourself.

I didn't even know the Stick Slider was gone. I jumped into the competition during the end of the third stage. Am I whining about spoilers? No. Now it leads straight into the Unstable Bridge. [spoilers]There was only 2 fails on the Salmon Ladder and Unstable Bridge if I remember correctly, SL fail due to injury (I'm pretty sure jun was injured by the way he was holding his arm between the LG and JS) and the UB fail was just messing up the balance after dismounting it[/spoiler]

Perhaps those people are overly-sensitive. But hey, whining about it will make you forget it happened, right? Wow. I like that change. Good idea, TBS.

Face it, they're not gonna bother changing the bar for the Salmon Ladder out of all of the other things that they were working on in Sasuke 24. Like the rest of you pretty much said, it was already there and therefore simply convenient to leave it be.
