It seems we're starting to get more and more videos related to application and training, so perhaps in the Training section we should have a sub-board for such videos. Thoughts?

IMO, this idea sounds pretty good in some ways yet not in others. A pro, for example, is that it would allow us to access these more easily and make the Training section more organized than it currently is. Then again, there are some topics that could fit into this category or be on the borderline between this and the "General Training" forum, which may ironically add to more confusion. Either way, this is ultimately up to the staff members.

There's not that much posts in the Training section, so I don't see a need for it.
But whatever.
Actually, it would be better if there was just a thread stickied that said "Post training vids here."

I don't think we need to do anything. There aren't enough yet.
If we ever do get a lot, just make a stickied topic, like JP said. Remember how popular ultimask8er's topic was on the G4 forum?

Sticky topic works too, I think. The only problem is it may be difficult to find a particular video you're looking for?

Search a specific thread? Ever the logical thinker, Oti! Excellent. Now what do the admin/mods think?

I can't tell exactly what you meant by that comment.
Either way, though, I was being serious. Each topic as well as the forum as a whole has a search function. If you use the one for the training video topic, it should be just fine.
If someone can't handle THAT, they REALLY suck at interneting.

Sorry, it wasn't sarcasm, it was an actual compliment lol Yeah, that could work out. And I agree, people who can't search need to learn.

Perhaps a subthread for the Training section could be created that could link us to things such as Youtube channels of the people posting training videos so we could get to them more easily without having to post all of them all individually on a subthread. Just a recommendation considering that I'll most likely be posting a training video (sort of) on my Youtube channel very shortly (i.e. tommorow).

I don't think we need to link everyone to our training channels if we're going to be posting training videos. You can easily find the channels by following the usernames on Youtube. That way, there's less clutter here.

Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr one thread that as a list of everyone's Youtube account. Like the first post.
Someone should do that. Some users on this forum have great Youtube accounts that should be getting more subscribers.

I was unsure as to whether or not I should put my Youtube address on the thread for my first training video just now and was wondering if the same was done for all of the others here who have done so throughout the past months. A lot of you guys have some great material on your channels, which I hope to do as well as time goes on! ;D

Why not have the first post in the videos topic (which would be stickied) full of the channels, then? Whenever someone wants it added, they can tell a mod and the mod can edit it.

I like the put-everything-in-the-first-post-idea-and-update-it idea too. It works with the other... videos. So I'm for it, plus it makes it easier to check out the videos instead of having to navigate through pages of text.
And you can put if it's been updated recently or when it was last updated or something like that.
