I love the idea of 12 steps, but they didn't execute it very well. The steps were too close together and most people ended up just walking across instead of jumping.
I voted 7-8 steps because I do agree they we're put too close together for my taste. But they also made them thinner. It seemed like they went for agility on the new steps in place of power like on the old steps.
If they arrange them the way the Sextuple Steps were set up, no amount of steps will make it challenging. I think the logs should be reduced to five or six, spread out a bit farther and they should all have pneumatic cylinders, that way when you step on them, they fall slowly. The faster you go, the less they move and the easier the obstacle is.
I don't really care; make them spring loaded, even. Anything to make it more interesting.
Nah, didn't care for the 12-step progr - I mean, obstacle. They need to either bring back the Sextuple Step or just add one on and create the Septuple Step.
I always thought that if they were going to modify the steps, they would change it to 8 steps...I think I already voted idc, but come to think of it, they should probably think of something other than steps for the 1st obstacle (possibly bring back something like the Prism Tilt )
I wouldn't mind some sort of running/jumping thing like the Hurdle Jump. This new obstacle isn't bad though and it did some considerable damage like the old steps.
The first obstacle needs to be an obstacle where if you fail, you look hilarious failing. (Like the sextiple steps) I didn't find people failing the 12-steps as funny, but thats just me I guess.
People failing on the Hurdle Jump was funny. Hell, that whole Sasuke 12-15 where they had new 1st obstacles, I thought they were all great.

I feel that the steps have gotten old. I'm pretty sure that I've said this in another thread. But the steps just aren't as exciting as they were when I first saw them IMO. And I feel that no matter how many steps they add, the obstacle won't be as interesting as it once was. So, I feel they need a completely new first obstacle.
