Just getting this up now because Season 4 premieres later today on Telemundo, with reruns the next day on Universo.
Been meaning to make this thread since coming across the show partway through Season 1.
Here's a quick summary. I might be missing some stuff.
The US show is in Spanish.
The show runs 6 episodes a week, with elimination typically on Sundays, sometimes on Monday. Sometimes Sunday's episode is 3 hours long instead of 2.
The show airs for 3 and a half months with around 90 episodes. They're out there for a month and a half, so the show feels very close to real-time.
There are two seasons each year.
It can be a lot to keep up with, but at the same time, you can just tune in whenever and still catch some action.
Every run is shown.
The intro to each episode varies. Sometimes it's a quick training montage. Sometimes there's a bit of talking. Sometimes they go right into the challenge.
The challenges are typically first team to win 10.
You'll see each course at least once a week, but the reward for the course they run is different except for the individual medal challenge, which is always run on the gold course.
Each week, you'll see these types of rewards - staying in the mansion versus the cabin; the chance to play the money board; the chance for one person to win a car; some other kind of team reward such as obstacles to practice with, a trip to the city, a party or fancy food or something back at the house or cabin, a memento or message or video call with family, etc.; the individual medal challenge where the last male and female will each win a medal that can be used to erase one win from your opponent if you're up for elimination.
For elimination, on the losing team, the person with the highest win percentage chooses who the person with the lowest win percentage will face off against.
The cast is entirely high level athletes of many disciplines. They'll bring in a new competitors as the season goes on.
The end of each course includes some kind of simple two or three part mini game. These typically involve stacking, throwing, tossing, sliding, or rolling. This gives competitors a chance to fight it out in a sense. These are always different.
I don't remember if any mini game is ever repeated in its entirety because there are so many of them.

Here's a 1 hour clip of Season 3's Grand Finale just two months, to get a sense of how the show looks.
The top 2 men and top 2 women battle it out, then the final male and female competitors face off against each other.
Here's a 39 minute compilation of some of the champion's matches.

For two weeks near the end of March, they switched to one-hour episodes at 5 days a week, over the usual 2 hours x 6 days. Then they aired a full two hour episode that ended with an announcement the season would be postponed.
We're 2 months into the season, which typically runs 3 to 3.5 months. The show has a very quick turnaround time from filming to airing. I remember back in Season 1, in an extra scene during one of their weekly after shows, you could see a date on a clapperboard that was from a week earlier.

The show returns tomorrow with a 2-hour special featuring highlights of the season so far, then one-hour episodes each weekday.
If they stuck with 2-hour episodes, then we'd have about 1 to 1.5 months left in the season, but at this rate, we may end up finishing in September.

In the first of these new one-hour episodes, they went to a 6-6 tie breaker, instead of the usual first to 10 or 9-9 tie breaker.
They finished the match in one hour instead of splitting it across two days like they did for the two weeks before shutdown.
The match was for the house, so there wasn't a second part to it. We'll see how they do the other types of matches.
Sunday elimination episodes are still 2 hours.
With this new pacing, the season should be over by mid to late August.
---
Edit - After a week, they're back to full 2 hour episodes. They also brought in 4 new competitors.

A bunch of things have happened since the last update.
They got proper face masks.
Lots of people getting injured and having to sit out. Mostly on red team.
Nate hurt his neck 4 weeks ago (August 17).
Erasmo came back as host later that week.
3 weeks ago, Tommy went home with a bad knee without a head to head after red lost elimination. He was kind of a staple since the first season where he was the last man on red, and was team coach in the next season. Red had a really exciting underdog run toward the end of Season 1.
They brought in two new women. Blue won the house.
---
2 weeks ago, the main competition went on break in place of a special competition (September 1).
All of blue team is on break, while the 5 players on red that aren't sitting out are part of the special competition.
The special competition runs the same as the regular competition with similar prizes and stuff.
They brought in 15 players from the previous 3 seasons. 10 for blue, and 5 for red to join the current members.
They're doing double elimination each week to speed things up.
Nate and two other red members who were sitting out are now back in.
They just brought in a red member from season 3.
Daer Sanchez and Raquel Becker both from Season 1 were just eliminated. Daer is a parkour pro who was the 3rd man left on blue his season. Raquel is a stuntwoman was the 2nd woman left on blue her season.
A current member of red is now sitting out with a bad ankle, and they brought in another member from season 3.
Having Nate and Mack means we have two ANW competitors on the show at the same time now.

8-17 - Nate hurt his neck and had to leave. 9-7 - Nate came back from his neck injury. 9-9 - Nate hurt his foot and had to leave again.
---
9-20 - The special tournament ended. Blue won the $25,000 team prize. While two Red members, Fernando and Nona each won the $5,000 individual prizes. Both Red members also happen to be from the current season. They also each previously won another $5,000 in one of the challenges earlier in the special tournament.
---
9-21 - Blue won the house. 9-22 - Red won something. Didn't quite catch it. 9-23 - Red won the chance to play the money board. Alejandro picked the numbers and won the full $50,000 for the team. 9-24 - Nate came back in crutches to support the team. Chuy and Naomi from Blue also returned on jet skis. Blue won the house 10-9 after a relay tiebreaker. Yamilet (Red) and Isaiah (Blue) also won the chance to ride around on the jet skis. 9-27 - Vero (Blue) had to leave the competition due to a knee injury, I think. It was super emotional. Two Red women, Alejandro and Wendy went to elimination. Wendy went home. 9-28 - Red won the house. 9-29 - Nate was able to compete again. This episode was for one man and one woman to each win $10,000. It was also an hour long because of the presidential debate. 9-30 - Nate won a car. It came down to Nona and Nate. 10-1 - Red lost elimination. Fernando and Carlos went to elimination. Carlos went home. The game at the end of the course involved stacking columns while matching numbers and letters. It was confusing for some at the start, especially Nate. 10-2 - Blue won the house and a pool party.
---
10-4 - Red lost elimination. It was double elimination. Nate won against Fernando in a full 4-3. Nate was behind for a while at 0-2, but came back 2-2, then 2-3, and 4-3. Yamilet won against Alejandro 4-1. We're down to 3 Red and 7 Blue competitors remaining. With 10 left, everyone's in the house. 10-5 - Nona (Red F) and Elias (Blue M) won immunity from the next elimination. Both matches (Nona vs Yamilet and Elias vs Emmanuel) had each competitor down to their last life. 10-6 - Nate (Red M) and Claudia (Blue F) won immunity from the next elimination. Nate didn't lose a single match. 10-7 - Yamilet (Red F) and Emmanuel (Blue M) won immunity from the next elimination. Yamilet didn't lose a single match, while Emmanuel only lost one. It was also the women's elimination. Dennhi won against Naomi 4-0. 10-8 - The first half was the men's elimination. Chuy won against Isaiah 4-2 after 9 rounds. They were even at 2-2, then Isaiah used a medal at 3-2, then Chuy used a medal at 2-3, then Isaiah used a medal at 3-2, and Chuy won the next two. Nona (Red F) and Nate (Red M) won immunity from the next elimination. They both didn't lose a single match. 10-9 - Dennhi (Blue F) and Chuy (Blue M) won immunity from the next elimination. Both their matches also had each competitor down to their last life. The second half was the men's elimination. Emmanuel won against Elias 4-2 after 8 rounds. Elias used a medal at 3-0, then used a second medal at 3-1, then Emmanuel hit his head but came back to win one, then Elias won one, then Emmanuel won the match.
---
10-11 - The first part was the women's elimination for the last spot in the Final 6. The second part was immunity. The third part was elimination. Claudia won against Yamilet 4-2 after 11 rounds. Claudia used a medal, then Yamilet used four medals, then Claudia continued her winning streak with two more to win the match. 1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2, 2-3, 3-2, 3-2, 3-2, 3-2, 3-2, 4-2. 6 competitors are left. 2 Red and 4 Blue. Emmanuel and Claudia both joined the Blue team a month and a half into the show, which was nearly a month before lockdown. Dennhi and Emmanuel won immunity. Dennhi only lost one match. Nona won against Claudia 4-3 after 10 rounds. Claudia used a medal at 3-0, then Nona used two medals. 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, 3-3, 3-3, 3-3, 4-3. Nate won against Chuy 4-3. 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 4-3.
10-12 - The Grand Finale. The Final Four. 2 Red - Nate and Nona, who were both here from the beginning, although Nate was gone for over a month from injuries. 2 Blue - Emmanuel and Dennhi. Emmanuel was among the last group of four to join the season a month and a half into the season, and nearly a month before lockdown. Dennhi was also in Season 2, where she was the second female left overall. Her teammate, Valeria would go on to become Season 2 Grand Champion. Nona won against Dennhi 5-1. 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 5-1. Nate won against Emmanuel 5-1. 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 5-1. The Male Champion and Female Champion battle it out. 3 wins will win the course. Win 3 courses and you're the Grand Champion. Nona wins the first course 3-0. Nona wins the second course 3-0. Nate wins the third course 3-2. It went back and forth. 0-1, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2. Nate wins the fourth course 3-1. 0-1, 1-1, 2-1, 3-1. Nate wins the fifth course 3-0. Nate Burkhalter is the Season 4 Grand Champion and receives $200,000. Nona / Alondra Gonzalez receives $50,000.

I didn't really talk about the latest Season 5, but the finale was back in August. Instead of a single Grand Champion, they've switched to having separate Male and Female Champions. The finale was 3 hours but they've conveniently edited into 3 different videos. One for the Men, one for the Women, and one that's a condensed version of the entire finale with a bunch of runs cut. Men Women Condensed Finale Episode Also some runs in separate clips in the Episode 178 playlist www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8YyvJwJoViIRs2yi1256QFxU

Didn't really talk about last year's Season 5, but just gonna say it was an insanely long season.
Season 5 was 178 episodes and ran for a solid 7 months. There weren't any breaks besides the occasional soccer game or music award show.
Season 4 was 139 episodes over a total of 5.5 months, not counting the 3.5 month break for lockdown 2.5 months in. The season also included a special 3 week mini tournament 1.5 months in after coming back from lockdown.
Season 3 was 83 episodes.
---
The initial roster featured 12 new players and 12 returning players from the first 3 seasons, with each team having 6 new + 6 old. This included some runner-up and final 4 players, so the level of competition was very high.
Veteran Mack Roesch (ANW8 Vegas - Jumping Spider) had to leave 2 months in due to injury. He had the highest win percentage up to that point.
Veteran Kelvin Renteria who was team leader for Blue in Season 3 and 5, finished 2nd for the men in both his seasons.
Rookie Jeyvier Cintron (Olympic Boxer 2012 and 2016) became the men's champion.
Veteran Norma Palafox finished 2nd for the women in Season 3, and became the women's champion.
Rookie Nathalia Sanchez (Olympic Gymnast 2008) finished 2nd for the women.
This season ended with separate men's and women's champions, rather than having them go on to compete for an overall grand champion. This was likely in response to Season 4's incredible finale.
Season 1 and 2 were both won by women.

There was a stretch during the last three weeks of Season 5 with the women that was a good underdog watch but devastating. August 4 E162 - Red had 4 women left, while Blue had 3. Blue lost that elimination, so two of their women, Mirna and Wilmarie, had to go against each other. Mirna had to leave during that match due to injury. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8YyO1iaNWqLeG21sYLc4HdFE--- With Blue only having 2 women left, it meant both of them would have to run each match against Red's 4. Over the next 7 episodes, Blue would win 3 of them. The last of these was a team elimination, which they lost. Their last 2 women had to go against each other. August 12 E169 - Rookie Ana defeated rookie Wilmarie. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8YyHCyOqD8lSaTRItnMJz891Wilmarie was among the last to join the show partway through. She's an obstacle course racer and was also the last to join Blue team on the network's other show El Domo Del Dinero. Her team won that show's first and only season which ran from October 2020 - January 2021. --- The next two episodes were the last of the team competition before going to individual competition with the Top 10. It was basically Ana versus the 4 women on Red, so she had to run every match for the women. August 13 E170 - It was evenly matched. Halfway through, it seemed like Blue was consistently maintaining a one win lead. Toward the end, Red took the lead at 9-8. If Ana won that next match, they would've gone to a tie-breaker, but her last beanbag accidentally knocked in her opponent's last beanbag. Red won 10-8. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8Yxrj9BBS1tvEYJawILeD8wVAugust 14 E171 - For the final team elimination, with Red leading at 6-0, Blue would rally back, but Red ended up winning at 10-8. Ana won most of her matches and had the fastest time for the women. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8YxCiUFYeImdR4Yx2jGBpwTu--- Two of the four women from Red would be eliminated throughout finale week. August 22 E177 - In the second to last episode, with veteran Palafox having secured her spot in the finale, it was Ana versus Nathalia to determine the other spot for the women. Ana had to leave due to injury. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8YxqNCbb3-A9R5RtJH-Hd-Vw

Season 6 started this week. The competitors are all new. As far as I'm aware, two of them have been on other shows. Hector Perfecto Gomez was on ANW13. http://instagr.am/p/CQtuInblPRS Miguel Angel Espinoza was on Reto 4 Elementos.

This season has two parts to it. It's a shortened regular season that transitions into the very first All-Stars season. The final four are joining 12 previous competitors which includes champions, runner-ups, and other big names.
The regular season was 6 weeks, instead of 3 months. This season's Sunday episodes are all 3 hours long.
Daily eliminations happened over the past 8 out of 9 episodes. Last night's Sunday episode had quadruple eliminations to decide the final four joining All-Stars.
The season really started to feel like it was going somewhere over the past couple weeks feeding into All-Stars.
For future seasons, I wish they would eliminate 2 people each week from the beginning so the show doesn't feel like it's dragging on until it ramps up during the last 2-3 weeks like previous seasons.
There were also two USA vs. Mexico matches during the first few weeks of the season.
Most of the courses are brand new, and the two older ones have been redesigned. They also feature paths that cross over, single paths, more pushing obstacles, and some mechanical elements.

Continuing my previous post... The hybrid Season 7 (Rookie season + All-Stars season) finished back in January. The shortened rookie season ended with the final four each winning a convertible car, and having a spot in the first All-Stars season. Season 5 could almost be considered an All-Stars season. It featured mostly rookies alongside 12 returning competitors for the whole thing but no returning grand champions. The best returning competitor that season was S2 runner-up who during his original season was basically the men's champion if they had separate champions before S5. All-Stars had a total of 16 competitors. Besides the 4 rookies, the best returning competitors are S2 grand champion who would've been women's champion, S5 men's champion, S4 runner-up who would've been women's champion, two-time men's runner-up from S3 and S5. Keep in mind that if the 4 rookies here had their own grand finale before All-Stars, then two of them would be coming in as champions and the other two as runner-ups. During All-Stars, 3 of the 4 rookies made it to Top 8. Then 2 of them, one male and one female, made it to Top 4. Of those remaining 2 rookies, Yoridan Martinez became the men's champion, while Caterine Ibarguen was the women's runner-up. I was really hoping both rookies would become champions as underdogs. Caterine really held in there, but knee problems slowed her down. Season 5 men's champion Jeyvier Cintron was the men's runner-up. Jeyvier had to push especially hard because he suffered a knee injury that actually took him out for a bit for medical observation earlier in the competition. All-Stars introduced one new course toward the end. --- Episode 42 playlist - Final Four rookies are decided before going to All-Stars www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8YxJAZ70y5K5C-gDW05K9sztEpisode 91 playlist - All-Stars 2022 Grand Finale www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8YxnJgrwPzgmNtvvzZkdJ_dA--- Episode 9 playlist - USA vs Mexico during rookie season www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8YzlsBdGc5nwJsnT_cf7arjVEpisode 19 playlist - USA vs Mexico rematch during rookie season www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8YyP-LS1N9jD20IVzgB87xeAEpisode 68 playlist - USA vs Mexico during All-Stars www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCzSZtI8p8YwSxvrr3-1uZ3ZlitF99kyk--- Other episodes - www.youtube.com/@exatlonestadosunidos/playlists--- A general list of competitors and their results can be found on the main page es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exatl%C3%B3n_Estados_Unidos#S%C3%A9ptima_Temporada:_Edici%C3%B3n_Mundial_(2022)es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exatl%C3%B3n_Estados_Unidos#Exatl%C3%B3n_Estados_Unidos:_All_-_Stars_(2022)The full season breakdown on Wikipedia was deleted, but just in case they're ever restored, they would be listed on these pages es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anexo:Exatl%C3%B3n_Estados_Unidos_(temporada_7)es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anexo:Exatl%C3%B3n_Estados_Unidos:_All_-_Stars_(2022)
