My first idea is removing the Nail Clipper and to NEVER use it again. That was OP. What a weak name, too. The "Salt Shaker" would be 10x better.
Another suggestion is to not celebrate after every Stage 2 obstacle beat. For example, I watched Kevin Bull's run. After every obstacle, they had celebrated with smoke. I think that gives more pressure to the runner
The Double Dipper was so cool! Maybe a Triple Dipper (Definitely not, I just want more of this obstacle, lol)
Also, replace Kristine Leahy. She seemed like she hated her job. Matt and Akbar deserve more enthusiastic people helping them.
Also, due to safety, make the water 5 feet deep no matter what. The rolling log looked like the water was 2 feet deep.

She seemed really cool and into Ninja Warrior (if it was an act, I couldn't tell). Kristine seems like she doesn't care much. I don't know how much of it is the production, but when athletes fall, she presses them way too much with basically the same question, "you just failed and all your hard work was in vain, how do you feel?"

If the water pits are five feet deep, a decent amount of competitors will have to tread water just to stay afloat. It also makes it much harder to extract someone from the water when it's that deep, especially when someone is incapacitated and can't leave the water on their own power, whether from injury or exhaustion.
