So...what I'm getting is that 100 people will compete in a two stage "SASUKE Malaysia" course. Then, if anybody completes that they will win a trip into SASUKE 27.

Oh I hope it's real! Taiwan never got theirs off the ground last year and South Africa have had 2 non-official ones.. Keep us updated if you hear anything.

Of course, I could also just slap the TBS logo on my blog anywhere I want and pretend that I'm official too. But this event has government backing so who knows. www.sasukemalaysia.com/about-us

That would be friggin' awesome if they did get a spot I wonder if they will have some sort of coverage so we can see how they did in their trials.

The site is back up and looks much much better now. That was probably why it was down.

I honestly don't blame them, too many legal issues.

I honestly don't blame them, too many legal issues. Legal issues? If they can vote they should be able to take part in a sports competition

I honestly don't blame them, too many legal issues. If their age limit was 18 I could understand that.. But they make you have to be 21... There are plenty of skilled competitors 18-20 I'm sure..

Oh of course I agree with the 18 limit. I was mostly referring to how this trials is letting 16-17.

Oh of course I agree with the 18 limit. I was mostly referring to how this trials is letting 16-17. Why wouldn't they? Sasuke's official age minumum is high school (so approximately 15 since they start at 10th grade (approx. US equivalent).

Well as I said before, I think it is legal stuff. Plus probably a few other reasons that we do not know about.

I hate to break it to you all, but I'm calling fake on this.

I think we'd all like to know whether it is legit or not but just saying that it is fake is not enough. We need definitive proof. Do you have any?
