Anyone done any extensive testing with TVAnts recently?
I watched TBS for about 5-10 minutes a week or so ago and i was just fine. Any one else tried it out?

At this point it would be fine, its when our streaming friends in Japan start moving around is when it gets troublesome

I wouldn't say TV Ants will stay reliable.
When Sasuke 23 aired, it black out, completly.
When Kunochi 8 aired, it cut out at the very end (Which, in any competition, the very end is always the most exciting part of the show)
I assume the more people watching, the more it dies.
What I hope is a few people stream from TV Ants to Livestream to cut down on the crowded viewers. Same with Keyhole.
And I think, just in case, a plan B maybe, someone(hopefully) should get a pay-to-play stream.

If we can get a more organized plan than what Sasuke 23 was, then I think we'll be in really good shape. With Sasuke 23, we were lucky anyone watched it in good quality. If someone does get a pay service and then gives the feed to another 1-3 people to stream to about 50 that would be amazing.
I haven't checked out Tvants, but after the debacle it was before and right up to 23, I really don't want to rely on it.

How much do these pay services cost and where do you get them?

I'll do livestream again this year since I won't be going to school.
In fact, since livestream is only 50 viewer limit, we might as well as ask unclesam for another channel up and running for total of 100 people.

Also, list of possibilities:
TVAnts. Best option that we have Livestation, but only if it works. Livestream (2 conditions for this) 1. If TVAnts is working, its for people without the program. 2. If TVAnts isn't working, we do the same thing from last time. KeyHole, but really?

Chris would but he's not even going to be in the country during the time of Sasuke

The problem was that I had some 'problems' on the day so Chris had to broadcast.
I will see if I can fix this in time.
But also notice that I'm only assuming the worst. Most likely TVAnts will be up and running.

I do not believe anyone can stream Keyhole through VLC. I think what they were referring to was when the crap hit the fan during 23.. someone (I think Nova) streamed KeyHole through Livestream for the ones that were locked out of the WIST stream Jason was hosting (Chris was streaming that through his LiveStream).

That's what I thought. It's a shame, because I have no good way to record TV Asahi. D:

I streamed Chris's video.
(If you're seeing this Jason, I just want to test out to see if VLC is working or not).
Also, I can't find any channels. Help?

Is anyone here familiar with WIST, how difficult it is to get set up with, and such? I'm seriously considering it just to avoid the possibility of being unable to see Sasuke 24 otherwise.
I'm a bit trepidacious, though, that I'll spend money of it and not be able to use it.

Hi everyone. Did you miss me?
I'll have details later today.
Also, I'm going to hold a test viewing party Wednesday night. What's good on Japanese TV around 4PM their time Thursday?

Are there any alternate channels to watch on TV Ants when the main TBS channel is funky?
