Imagine Levi wasn't on Sasuke 20 and its basically a carbon copy of Sasuke 19 with the only difference of one person making it to the stick slider. Where does SASUKE go from here? Producers already nerfed Sasuke 20 made the Jumping spider and Flying chute, the in-between of the 18 and 19 versions they added 5 seconds to the clock, and STILL only 2 people cleared stage 1 and both failed before the mat after the salmon ladder.
I believe Levi clearing with 16 seconds left made the producers think the dificulty level was fine. If we have sub 10 second finish again. I think we'd see a very different story line for 21.

Tbh even with Levi competing we could've very easily had a Stage 2 ending as he narrowly avoided being caught out by the Stick Slider malfunction. Assuming he didn't though, I'd probably say we'd have maybe a 5-10 second time limit increase, as we did get quite a few timeouts like from Takeda, Brian, etc. The Half-Pipe Attack might also get nerfed as it took out almost half those who attempted it; yes obviously this was largely due to the fact that the Jumping Spider was easier hence more attempts, but it still showed that obstacle's difficulty. That said, assuming we got absolutely no changes even with Levi being absent, we'd still have the exact same results for 21 as the course was left the same (barring the Stick Slider and climbing obstacle on Stage 3, both of which were needed for obvious reasons). It just depends on whether the producers would cover their a**es after two consecutive Stage 2 endings, which I imagine they would to avoid drops in ratings. 19 being a one-off brutality fest was fine, that becoming the norm or expectation would lead to declined interest, because fans will just assume that there's no possibility that this course could be beaten, leading to mental checkouts.

I agree SASUKE 21 probably has the same result, tbh production could also decide to just lean into the difficulty as a way of advertising and interest, framing it as "can the monster be defeated" it would look bad to do another massive nerf, it would be hard to bring the time limit back up to 130 seconds without people feeling like they're artificially making the course easy just to finally get back to the 3rd stage. I think the biggest thing that Levi did was by finishing with so much time, he hamstrung their ability to keep the time limits so long, because its hard to say stage 2 has a proper time limit when someone clears with almost 40 second. Now if only the current production would take this into account.
