EDIT: THESE RULES ARE NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
Sasuke 21 is less than 24 hours away, and there are a lot of people who won't be able to see it as it airs in Japan, so we want to keep spoilers to a minimum. These are now the standard rules about spoilers on this forum.
All after-the-fact Sasuke 21 discussion goes in this subforum. THERE ARE TO BE NO SPOILERS ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE BOARD. It doesn't matter if they're tagged or anything, just none.
NO SPOILERS IN THREAD TITLES. Even if it's in this forum, it will be visible to people on the main forum.
Blatantly intentional breaking of these rules will result in a temporary ban from the forums. If it's clearly just a mistake there will only be a warning.
THESE RULES ALSO APPLY TO THE G4 FORUMS. Post blatant spoilers over there and you will be banned over here.
Once again, THESE RULES ARE NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

What if you want to make a topic about someones run and just that but can't say. Would you just go "SPOILERS: Nagano's Run" or something?

Yeah that's okay, as long as it doesn't insinuate anything about his run. And this is a spoiler forum, so you don't need to mark spoilers here.

That's fine. Just as long as you don't put, "Can you believe Nagano failed [insert obstacle name here]?"
Also, just use common sense and think about what your posting before you post it.

So basicly you can say something like "New Obstacle" but you can't say what the new obstacle is on the topic title?

It might be good (but a pain for the mods) to try to get people to stay on topic if it's about a specific person's run, if only because people might be looking for one thing and then wind up finding out something they may not have wanted to know.

So basicly if you want to talk about something else it'd be a good idea to make a whole new topic and not sway another one?

It's easier for people to not click on a topic they don't want to read than it is for them to scroll past a message they don't want to read but may be part of something they want to read.

I remember Sasuke 20.. someone would start with say.. Levi's run in Stage one.. by the end of the topic it swayed to Nagano face planting in the water at full speed in stage 2 and by the end of the rants from people it finished with Levi falling off the Cliffhanger.. yeah.. DEFINATELY keep it to topic.

*innocently whistles*
This is why I want to make 100% sure of the rules.

LOL Rider I flogged you enough.. and so far.. SO far I think you get it.. just remember.. before you hit the Post button.. take a second.. THINK.. I think that's half your problem solved right there When in doubt .. go with caution. With properly tagged posts I'm sure there will be great conversations about what we saw and people will enjoy it. Just make sure they belong in teh right place.. OH! One more.. thing.. DO NOT POST IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT!.. After tomorrow it's no longer "spoiler".. meaning.. we will not be "predicting".. so if you haven't seen it.. take steps to see it.. THEN post.. nothing more annoying than "I haven't seen it" or.. "did someone do this" when everyone else took the time to do it.

We just need everyone able to moderate Rider's posts otherwise he's gonna mess up and make a thread like "SPOILER: Luci's attempt on Final Stage." Alright, maybe not that but....

So, you think people will let that fade 6 months later.

NO SPOILERS IN THREAD TITLES. Even if it's in this forum, it will be visible to people on the main forum. A thread entitled "Nagano's run" might not be much of a spoiler. It confirms he (or anyone else named in a thread like that) was there and ran the course, but that's it. "Nagano's Third Stage Run" definitely would be a spoiler and would probably be a violation of these rules. Since these threads are going to show up in the main Sasuke Maniacs board, please try to use your best judgment and discretion. In the main board, don't say something like, "Well Luci passed the Log Grip, so there!" in order to win an argument. Bite your tongue and save it for the Sasuke 21 sub-forum.

Like the (unmentioned) forum that most probably got PMs about a while ago. Why not sent up a "spoiler" forum that isn't actually part of the main forum and just leave a link on the public forums. That why people can't accidentally read spoilers and like Jhonsun was stating, just keep the spoilers to spoilers threads, don't blab about it on accident in an argument or anything.

Now that G4 has shown 21, there's no real point to this rule anymore, so we're abolishing it.
Huzzah.
