So far, Keitaro has only failed Stage One twice, Sasuke 20 and 37. 20 was when he was still in high school and 37 was due to a damp wall. In 39, he cleared the Wall in the rain with more than 10 seconds left and the only hard obstacle in Stage One so far is the Dragon Glider which he hasn't failed and Stage One has remained the same. So what are Keitaro's weakness on Stage One, and which old obstacle could take him out?

It's hard to say given that Stage 1 has been so stagnant during the majority of his tenure (the same goes for a lot of today's cohort). That said, him clearing a renewed Stage 1 in 35, and being able to battle the rain in 39, implies he is at least somewhat adaptable to unforeseen new challenges.
In terms of what could take him out, it won't be anything speed or time limited-related as he is one of the faster competitors, nor would it be anything upper body or grip related as he's an Unlimited Cliffer. Something more raw strength based could be an avenue as he's of a smaller stature, like a heavier Tackle or a new approach (iirc he had a LOT of trouble with the Wall Lift in 36). Balance could be an avenue too, but only due to the fact that we've never seen him attempt such an obstacle, so again hard to say. He's also a terrible swimmer but obviously with the Backstream in Stage 2, a water obstacle for Stage 1 wouldn't be viable.
In terms of past obstacles, for some reason I could see the Rolling Escargot taking him out given how he rushed the Rolling Log in 38. Jumping Spider too, not because he failed it prior as he was literally 16, more that it's a very do-or-die move and even a lot of the most established veterans had one or two fails on the obstacle. Especially 26's version.
