What if Kane returned in Sasuke 30? How far would he go? I think he would time out on the Backstream and Stage One isn't that hard compared to 40. However, I don't think it would be as iconic as in 40, as he wouldn't have beaten the age record as he would be 39 at that time though the Stage One clear gap record would remain

I’d probably peg him at Swap Salmon Ladder fail given how much he struggled with the Nobori/Kudari.
30’s Stage 1 was too easy for him to have a legit shot at failing, especially as he’d likely have trained months in advance regardless of when he was returning to Sasuke; and he would’ve obvs been a bit younger back then (39 I believe?). Not that he’s aged whatsoever but every little helps.
