How far do you think Tomohiro would go in 37 to 39, if he didn't fail the wall. For 39, let's say the rain didn't happen

In 37, I think he would clear stage 2 fairly easily with the rolling log being out of commission. On stage 3, he probably would fail one of the dimension leaps if 36 is anything to go on. However if that was a one time thing, I could see him reaching the final. He either time out on the salmon ladder or in the best case reach the rope with a similar height as he got in 30.
In 38, he would probably time out on the backstream, reverse conveyor or walls due to the unexpected impacted of the stage 2 rolling log.
In 39, he'd either narrowly time out a the end of stage 2 or would fail the first swing edge transition.

37: Possible Final attempt, given that the Dimension was halted and the VLK was nerfed, though given his inconsistency on Cliffhangers he could easily fail one of the 180 transitions even with the nerf.
38: Conveyer or Wall Lift timeout. He was never the fastest competitor on Stage 2, and even pretty rapid guys like Hioki couldn't hit the buzzer in time.
39: Probably Swing Edge. 40's Stage 2 had 5 fewer seconds and it seemed like the Backstream was somewhat stronger, so I could see Tomo clearing 39's with 5-10 seconds remaining, given that Ryo, who's had loads of struggles on Stage 2, still managed to clear with 5 or so seconds left, and Mutou cleared with 5 seconds left on his first attempt at the stage.

37: We take it for granted that Yusuke fail the Warped Wall, so we can have the nerfs in Second and Third Stage. For me Tomohiro would have a great chance to even reach the Final Stage, but given his inconsitency on the Third Stage, I see him failing on the Cliffhanger Dimension.
38: Given the surprisingly hard Second Stage, I see Tomohiro timing out on the beginning of the Wall Lift, considering the fact that several top competitors failed, like Ryo, Yuuji and Hioki.
39: I see him reaching the Swing Edge as an absolute best but I don't see him clearing, considering that it was a completely new obstacle at the time and the fact he failed it on the next tournament.

Honestly, I think Tomohiro is quite lucky with Stage Two so far, he didn't compete in 29 and failed Stage One in 33 and 38, where Stage Two was a bloodbath. He almost timed out in 35 and 40 and the only time he failed was in 24, where he pulled a Yuuji in 23
