Analyzing all Yamada's First Stage failures

SASUKE 7: If only he had cleared the wall in his first or even second try, he might have cleared since he came pretty close even clearing on his third try. The beginning of a nightmare called Warped Wall.
SASUKE 8: It was raining so I can forgive Yamada this time.
SASUKE 14: He had a great chance to clear considering the runaway after the Nejireta Kabe and the very lenient time limit
SASUKE 15: I think he would have timed out on the wall considering the extreme heat on that day
SASUKE 16: His closest failure, he lost so much time on a stage with a lenient time limit
SASUKE 17: Another Yamada moment at the wall, he even received #100 for one last time and he still bomb the wall, clearing when it was useless.
SASUKE 18: Probably the most impressive Yamada's run after his prime era, he deserved to clear but he was a bit too slow.
SASUKE 19: A tragicomic performance given he almost timed out on the third ostacle, but even he had cleared quickly the Pole Maze, I think he would have still failed the Jumping Spider considering how it was buffed
SASUKE 20: Failed an easier Jumping Spider, another signal of Yamada's weak mentality
SASUKE 21: He did well consider his weak form that day
SASUKE 22: The Jumping Spider curse strikes back, I think he would have reach the Slider Jump as an absolute best
SASUKE 23: I think he would have still fail the Slider Jump even if he had cleared the wall on his first try.
SASUKE 24: If he had cleared the wall on his first attempt, he had a good chance of clearing, but I think he would have timed out on the Rope Ladder considering he's Yamada
SASUKE 26: Failed a buffed Jumping Spider so it's not a big mistake
SASUKE 27: His last ever shot of clearing, he had a great chance but he failed the wall yet another time
SASUKE 28: He did well considering the fact that the only All-Star who surpassed him was Nagano
SASUKE 30: We had never seen his run, but knowing Yamada I think he had reached the Warped Wall low on time.
SASUKE 33: He failed on a tricky obstacle that he never attempted before.
SASUKE 38: He did very well, reaching the Dragon Glider at age 55 is an impressive feat consider it was his first time attemping the "Modern First Stage"
SASUKE 39: It was rain's fault, I believe that in dry condition he would have reached again the Dragon Glider as a best.
SASUKE 40: He had a surprising fast pace but unfortunately he failed on the Fish Bone. As an absolute best, I think he would have reached the walls.

Mostly agree here. Only things I'd mention.

In Sasuke 8, one side of the wall was dry and the other was wet. Yamada didn't realise this and went up the wet side by accident. Had he just moved slightly to the side he would've cleared, so this was quite unlucky.

Re 14, I'm not so sure about this. Given how he struggled with the wall in pretty much every post-hiatus tournament, there's a good chance he would've done the same here. Especially as 16's course was easier and he still timed out there.

Other than that, once Shin-Sasuke occurred, Yamada entered this pretty bad downward spiral where he'd either try and go fast and then fail early (i.e. his Jumping Spider fails), or he'd go more cautiously, but then not have enough time left to clear assuming he would be able to clear the wall (which he obviously didn't many times). 24 was the rare exception to this, he seemed like a different person, really going at it; I think he lost about 7kg before that tournament which might be why. He had hoards of time left for the wall, but then obviously missed once and the rest was history. 27 I think he would've maybe been able to clear if he had got the wall in his first attempt, but again the last time he managed that was what, Sasuke 11-12 (not counting the Great Wall)?

He actually managed to clear the wall in one try in 16, he just spent eight years on the JH and Reverse Duo.

In 16 the wall was easier than ever because after the Reverse Fly you could do a very long run-up before the wall (in fact only Yusuke Suzuki failed it)

IIRC he still only barely grabbed the top, and Nagano also missed a try for the only time between 8 and 23, (20?) so I'm not sure how much truth there actually is to that. I think it was a situation like 15's JH, where yes, nobody failed it, but everyone besides like, two people that got there were very good competitors.
