Well, I doubt they'd shake things up radically the first time out. But with an increase in ratings, who knows what they'll try next? The order has never truly been in order so it's not that big a deal during the broadcast but it is a headache when trying to compile data for later. Agreed on that. With them not having Sasuke Maniac around now for a year and trying to increase viewership I do know they might try new things to "spice things up". Even the "official" one spot from Miyazaki Prefecture beach thingie is new since before they "kinda" used some stuff from the other events without saying that one was definite. A good example of that was Yuuji in Bug in Miki from Sasuke 21.

Sasuke 22 was all OVER the place. We had people in the 70's shown before Shingo was 31.. then between the Audrey guy (30) and Shingo (31) you had like.. 15 people? I lost track. What's more is that they cut 20 people (50-68 or so) as if they didn't even exist. Then they had gone back some into the 40's then back to the 90's.. LOL It was like someone from G4 was editing Sasuke.. it was quite jarring. Ah right you are, well at least they show the people who clear in order that they came, Sato being last and stuff. Once again I'm reminded of the steps further G4 takes this gimmick, "it looked as if G4's champion was going to be the first to reach the 2nd stage." uhm, Dave, Washimi and Yamada already passed before him. and they make Brian in 21 come before Lee Enchi just to be more dramatic.

G4 compensates by doing this on every stage of the show and makes whoever does the best go last. I thought they had gotten better about that as of late. It's like how the last story on the news is a positive one or why movies tend to have happy endings. If continuity wasn't such an apparent problem, this would be a non-issue. /Though game shows don't always end on happy notes, but that's another topic

It seemed like they had gotten their act together in 21, but that's because #100, Nagano, DID get farther than anyone. Not many #100's had gotten farther than everyone on the course too often.
In 4 they did a good job with Akiyama clearing Stage 3 early in the episode and then later showing Yamada's failed attempt. G4 needs to start doing that again....but they probably won't.

What if they only did it for the top 10-20? That way in case Nagano freakishly breaks his leg falling out of a second-story window and can't compete he can still be a high number when he returns.
