I think he's saying COURSES, not tournaments. Doesn't look like he wants to use the program Sheep made. Regardless.. using "Sasuke 75" implies he has the right to continue on Sheep's events as if he's allowed to do so. Using someone else's success and implying the continuation of something he didn't create is still quite arrogant. If it isn't Sheep and his program then it's not Sim Sasuke. Call it something else and use someone else's thread. THIS thread is for Sheep's Sim Sasuke and NOTHING else.

I figured this would be the best place to put this. I am working on a mock Sim SASUKE program, certainly not nearly as good as Sheep's but for the time being it serves as a decent SASUKE simulator. The basic idea is that each competitor has an obstacle pass/fail threshold and a random number generator determines if they pass or fail. I'm going to run ten tests with five competitors to give you guys a sense of how good/bad my numbers are. The course being run is SASUKE 23's First Stage, and there is no true "time" system built in to the program yet. Katsumi Yamada 1. Log Grip 2. Slider Jump 3. Slider Jump 4. Warped Wall 5. Clear 6. Warped Wall 7. Jumping Spider 8. Jumping Spider 9. Jumping Spider 10. Half-Pipe Attack 1/10
Makoto Nagano 1. Clear 2. Clear 3. Clear 4. Slider Jump 5. Slider Jump 6. Slider Jump (surely this is a glitch) 7. Warped Wall 8. Clear 9. Clear 10. Clear 6/10
Asa Kazuma 1. Jumping Spider 2. Slider Jump 3. Warped Wall 4. Jumping Spider 5. Half-Pipe Attack 6. Warped Wall 7. Jumping Spider 8. Clear 9. Jumping Spider 10. Curtain Slider 1/10
Ryo Matachi 1. Warped Wall 2. Warped Wall 3. Clear 4. Clear 5. Clear 6. Clear 7. Warped Wall 8. Slider Jump 9. Rope Ladder 10. Clear 5/10
Minoru Kuramochi 1. Curtain Slider 2. Sextuple Steps 3. Jumping Spider 4. Curtain Slider 5. Sextuple Steps 6. Curtain Slider 7. Curtain Slider 8. Sextuple Steps 9. Log Grip 10. Sextuple Steps 0/10 For everyone's curiosity, here is the overall odds of each competitor clearing the course: Katsumi Yamada - 7.90% Makoto Nagano - 63.21% Asa Kazuma - 26.40% Ryo Matachi - 45.39% Minoru Kuramochi - 0.00000001% I am taking a computer programming course in the spring so I'll see what I can do with my newfound skills. Best case scenario I get an acceptable prototype running by May. EDIT: I re-tried some of the numbers and came up with these new totals. As a reminder, these are the odds of the competitor clearing SASUKE 23's First Stage. Yuuji Urushihara - 69.498% Makoto Nagano - 66.005% Ryo Matachi - 52.628% Katsumi Yamada - 7.996% Kazuhiko Akiyama - 7.887% RCPlanes59 - 1.212% Minoru Kuramochi - 0.000% (around 4*10^-11)

It seems like an interesting idea, though you might want to start a new thread specifically for your simulator. Good luck with it and keep us updated on your progress! EDIT: I re-tried some of the numbers and came up with these new totals. As a reminder, these are the odds of the competitor clearing SASUKE 23's First Stage. Minoru Kuramochi - 0.000% (around 4*10^-11)

I think you should be most offended about him being bad enough to fail "sextuple steps" in 23... So bad he fails an obstacle not in the tournament

Admittedly he has a pretty decent chance of making it to the Jumping Spider, from there he has a 2% chance of clearing the JS, then 1% for the HPA and WW, 4% for SJ, 6% for RL

I like your idea, RC. Maybe we can collaborate on some new courses? Great job! ;D

Yeah, it's been said on multiple occasions that sheep never released it, sorry man. Also, I didn't mean to come across harsh if it seemed like I did; it was just a perfect chance for me to re-use that picture.

Even though RC is working on another simulator (Of which I am a tester for), Sheep really needs to release at least like 2 more tournaments.

At this point, I'm skeptical about him coming back to regularly visit this forum anymore (let alone release additional Sim Sasuke tournaments). Nevertheless, while I was never too big into Sim Sasuke, it was still neat to check them out once in a while. Of course, there's also the fact that (like the rest of us) sheep does have a life outside of SMF. I completely understand if he's done with it, especially since it's pretty time-consuming and the important stuff he needs to do in his life obviously comes first. To an extent I can kind of relate, except with the whole "Sasuke music" situation instead of a simulation program.

Yea I can relate with the SMF SASUKE tournaments. Fun to do but really time consuming.
Anyway, he still visits here, just lurks around, which is fine.

I can't seem to download the file, and also it seems to want me to create an account, which I'm not going to do. Any suggestions?
