I actually think he's got great potential. He seems to think things through and has great feel for the course. I just hope he continues... despite his voice I still say that if he wins the ¥4,000,000, he should take some time off from work and finish puberty. #99 would be a nice gesture. Unlikely, though.

I think he could go very far again, but it would be the Slider Jump that takes him out if anything. That thing is so unpredictable and we could see a whole new group of guys make the 2nd stage this time around. I agree. I think people may be better prepared for the obstacle but I still think it is too unpredictable for competitors to account for everything that could go wrong.

#99 would be a nice gesture. Unlikely, though. How do you see that as unlikely? Levi got to stage 3 in 1 tournament, and they gave him #99... I totally see him as #99. Especially how ALL all-stars failed stage 1... I see him as a #99 MORE than I could see Levi getting it!

And then of course, don't forget Jordan Jovtchev - debuted in Sasuke 8, made it to Final Stage, didn't come back until 12 and they gave him #99 that day.
If Nagano wants Yuuji to be #100, he'll have a reeeeeeeeally strong case to plead. Otherwise, he's getting the #100 himself (much to his dismay, I hear?).

TBH, number dos not matter much if you can't perform when it counts.
