What three all stars do you think will go the farthest?
I picked Takeda, Yamamoto, and Nagano because Yamada and Shiritori are getting too old and Akiyama has the eye problem

Nagano and Takeda because they're the best, and I picked Shiratori instead of Yamamoto because I have no confidence in ol' Shingo anymore. What's he gonna do next, forget to grab onto the Rope Ladder from the Tarzan Rope and fall into the water?

The man can't get past the surroundings of the HPA, what makes you think he'll reach the Rope Ladder? Next thing he'll do is trip off the side of the Warped Wall. While going UP it.

I voted for Nagano takeda and shiatori. Because yamada + jumping spider = splash Akiyama has eye problems and shingo if none of the already posted happens he will make it to the top of the rope ladder with five seconds left and forget to press the button

I know this is off topic but it looked like jordan jotchev was going to do that on the warped wall

I picked Nagano and Takeda for reasons already mentioned. However, I picked Yamamoto over Shiratori in a toss-up. I can easily see both of them failing the Slider Jump next tournament. I guess I just gave Yamamoto the benefit of the doubt despite his careless slip-ups in recent tournaments.

I gave Akiyama a vote because it's obvious he stays in shape and Sasuke means alot to him. If his eyesight were alright I think he'd be a regular to the 2nd stage. Bunpei's breaking down, Yamada's slowing down, and well, maybe Shingo should get his eyes checked too.

You can't say "if Akiyama wasn't practically Blind he'd do good" because that's a what if scenario.
Fact is, his eyesight is horrible, and it prevents him from doing well on the course.
yeah, if he had good eye sight he'd do significantly better, but that's not the case.
Pains me, but Akiyama has a very low chacne of beating stage 1. But if he can do that, I think stage 2 would be a lot easier besides the metal spin of course.
And stage 3 probably wouldn't be too hard besides the jumping bars and hang climbing.
okay enough chit-chat. I chose
- Nagano
- Takeda
- Bunpei
The first 2 have always pretty much been the "best" all-stars. Since the beggining they've preformed pretty much better than the others. And currently they are the only ones who've been to stage 3, and they've both been to stage 2 more than once.
Bunpei is the only one who made it to stage 2, and he lost immediately, so nagano should be a given on any list.
And lastly I chose Bunpei or Yamamoto because I think he's more in shape than Shingo. Even with all of the injuries I think he could still do well on the course, while Shingo would probably do worse even without his stupid mistakes.

I've lost all faith in Shingo Yamamoto. I simply do not believe he cares anymore.
I've got a hunch that Bunpei won't participate. Even if he's not too injured to participate, I could see him willingly relinquish his spot for someone less injured.
Despite Katsumi Yamada's perpetual level of "fail", he's passed the Jumping Spider a couple of times, and he did reach the Final Climb in Sasuke 18. I'm currently the only vote for Katsumi Yamada in this poll, but I can envision him "retiring" and then breaking down in tears sitting or kneeling at the bottom of the curve of the Warped Wall.
So, yeah, Nagano Takeda Yamada are my votes.

I still have faith that Akiyama can beat Stage 1. Though if he gets past the Halfpipe, I worry about his vision for the Stick Slider. I work in video. I can't imagine how much it would suck if eyes got as bad as Akiyama's. So that's why I keep rooting for him.

And stage 3 probably wouldn't be too hard besides the jumping bars and hang climbing. On an easier version of the Shin Cliff Hanger in the festival thing last year Akiyama failed it along with Yamamoto so i dont think they can beat the real thing

Nagano-Takeda-Yamamoto Nagano and Takeda (...) Yamamoto because according to me he's got the potential, simply he had a bad luck or did dumb mistakes.

So the Shin-Cliff Hanger will probably be bad news for him.

I picked Takeda, Nagano and Yamamoto as Yamamoto came so close to beating stage 1 in all the SASUKE's apart from 19 really?

Nagano, Takeda, and either Yamamoto or Shiratori. Yama still has potential and Shiratori probably has some energy still left in him.

Nagano = Final stage /win
Takeda = cliff hanger
we know Bunpei is not there so i'll say Yamamoto for 3rd and fails slider jump.
