Hey everybody. With August turning into September, the next chapter of Sasuke is here. Sasuke 21 is just a few short weeks away from airing on TBS. Make sure you don't forget to watch Sasuke 21 as it airs in Japan. (I apologize for the people who already know this, I'm emailing everybody). You can watch Sasuke 21 in one of two ways and both use P2PTV technology. One is using keyholetv (http://xorsyst.com/japan/watch-japanese-tv-online/) and the other is TVUplayer (http://pages.tvunetworks.com/). Both do basically the same thing: let you watch TV on your computer as it is shown on a regular TV. TBS, the channel that broadcasts Sasuke, shows up in TVU as "T B S Channel" while keyhole is a little tougher to figure out as the title changes daily. For Mac users or for people who have old computers and can't use these two programs, I would ask you to contact Madmonso on the G4 forums as he might have something up so you can watch Sasuke 21. Mac users can also try livestation (livestation.com), it works with PC, Mac, and Linux. Imo, it has the best audio/video quality out of all three. However, all three are on different get the TBS stream at different rates: Keyholetv - gets the stream the fastest. Livestation - about 20 seconds behind keyholetv, but 40 seconds ahead of TVU TVUplayer - a minute behind keyholetv, and 40 seconds behind livestation. To record from livestation and tvuplayer, look here: ramblingrican.blogspot.com/2008/08/tvu-and-you.htmlSasuke 21 will air on TBS on Wednesday, September 17. The program starts at 6:55 PM JST and goes until 10:48 PM JST. To convert to the time in your time zone use this: www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?month=9&day=17&year=2008&hour=18&min=55&sec=0&p1=248

^ That's pretty much all you need to know. I remember some problems with DST (Daylight Savings Time) when converting from JST to GMT, a very easy way is just to type 'time in tokyo' into Google, and make the quick calculation.
(This is TMM098 from YouTube, BTW)

Hey, welcome to the boards! Yea, let's hope the TVU problems work themselves out and we can watch Sasuke 21 on any program.

Arsenette: Ube got a shout out and I didn't :-P
BTW, anyone having problems (TBS down on TVU does not count), you can e-mail me at Jason@AverageAtBest.com. It seems like the Mac people are getting it done themselves which is great cuz I don't have a Mac but I still try and help with some success.

Updated my blog to show that TVU is now officially not showing TBS because StarNetworks janked it. Unless another company streams it that's it for TVU in terms of getting ready for Sasuke 21. If that changes in the near future just holler!

I'm trying livestation on a mac and the stream hasn't been available since last night. Is it working for anyone else?

Is there a sollution for people stuck with Windows 98SE? The Livestation player itself won't work with 98, but the channel preview (see: www.livestation.com/account/streams/300594-tbs_japan) might. And Keyhole doesn't work with 98 either? What you can probably do is watch the stream directly. Just paste the stream location (for TBS: mms://stream.gundam.eu/tbs) into your browser and view it through a media program, preferrably VLC player, which you can also record it from.

Livestation was acting weird this morning, must have crapped out during the night. I re-installed it and all was well, but I sure don't want to be doing that at freakin' 6AM a week from now. Keyhole is still doing well.

Come to think of it, I might just watch the stream directly. It seems the method with the least likely potential problems.

Just tried both TVU and Livestation. TBS looks fine on Livestation but unfortunately it's gone on TVU. No listing whatsoever. Hope Livestation works on Sept. 17!

I only watch LiveStream through VLC because that's the only way to record it LOL.. My eyes are permanently glued to the KeyHole screen
