ramblingrican.blogspot.com/2009/06/beach-sports-miyazaki-prefecture.htmlMiyazaki Prefecture Competition 2009 - 2nd year they have this event (Thanks Ube for finding it and posting it on the other thread announcing Sasuke 23) and they are going to have the top winner of this event directly invited to Sasuke 23. Note that the air date for this event is actually in August. Still unsure if it's going to be MRT only? or part of Sasuke Navi in TBS.. Still time for that though.

That is great! That's about the time I'll be in Japan so I'll definitely go check it out. Wait, am I aloud to go watch? If so, I'll take pictures for you guys. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll get to meet the All-Stars. EDIT: Oh uh.. nevermind. I didn't realize it was that far south. I might not be able to then. I'll see what I can do though.

My favorite translation disaster is Supernova Birth Humiliation (that was the title of the Sasuke Maniac episode for Bug in Miki).. I have found some that might rival it.. but damn this one was a great one And yes it is VERY far south.. meaning the beach is going to farking awesome. I saw some pics of Miyazaki City and it's so cute with palm trees and whatnot.. I swear.. a beach is NOT a beach unless it has friggin' palmtrees.. SUCKS me living in Jersey..

I swear.. a beach is NOT a beach unless it has friggin' palmtrees.. Don't come to Australia then. We don't have any beaches. I really hope Tomino Keita participates in this, of everyone I would most like to see him in Sasuke 23. EDIT: Sorry, didn't realise it was exclusive to people from Miyazaki Prefecture. Oh well.

Beaches in the UK are mostly just stones and pebbles. Well considering what sand is... Aren't they all? And I think we'd all like to see how Keita does on the actual Sasuke course

Nah and Keita can't enter this competition either since he is from Tokyo. Only people who are from the actual prefecture can enter the competition itself.

Maybe we might get a hint as to the date of Sasuke (provided they have one at this point). SUCKS we can't see it since it's on MRT and that's a local TBS affiliate. My guess is that we have to wait until it airs on Sasuke Navi in September. Maybe Ube can scour the internet for blogs again mwahahahahha
