actually wasn't Akiyama 1st once (in SASUKE 20) That more has to do with it being the 20th Anniversary Tournament and them starting it off special (with the first winner as #1) and ending it special (with the second winner as #100). Thanks god I was thinking where would the world be if the 1st champion was given #1 on one of the biggest sasuke's of all time!

He actually was very happy that he was given 1 since he felt that he had no pressure on him to succeed. Especially since it was a year since he had done the course at all.

All I know is, either Nagano or Yamada will be #100. No one else gets it until they both leave, or they hold another 18-style pre-SASUKE race.

I wouldn't be surprised if they put Nagano in the 90's just to kick him in the butt to get better. I don't put anything past M9/TBS these days. Every single time I say "oh they would never do that" they go out and do it just to prove a point that no one person is above the course. Let's be honest though. TBS has modified the course since #14 just because of what Nagano has done (for the most part). Nagano getsw to 3 finals in a row and then stage 3 becomes more difficult starting in #14. Total redesign of Sasuke 18 because Nagano beat the course. More changes made in Sasuke 19 because Nagano got the farthest and only DQ'd himself on the CH. More changes to #23 because...yes you guessed it...Nagano almost passed the 3rd stage, save for a faulty obstacle. Think of what the course would look like today if Nagano had never competed.

#100 Nagano #88Yamada #64 Shingo #98 Bunpei if he competes #96 takeda #[undefined number] Akiyama
I don't give a number to Akiyama because 91-100 are assigned to make pressure, but akiyama doesn't care and the rest doesn't care

I hope I'm wrong, but it is unlikely that Bunpei and even Akiyama will compete in #23.

I do hope you're wrong, lars! Otherwise, that would mean we'd see the fewest All-Stars in a tournament since SASUKE 6 (when only Akiyama, Yamada, Takeda and Yamamoto were present as Nagano and Shiratori hadn't debuted yet). That would totally suck if both Shiratori and Akiyama didn't show up.

Right now, I don't think we're seeing any more All-Stars. The All-Stars are the All-Stars.
Unless TBS or Monster 9 changes their mind.

Bunpei hasn't been showing up in the Spring because it's cold and his back hurts (Granted he had an additional problem with his knee this year). Akiyama only missed one tournament because he was going to retire... the others were M9's fault for not inviting him. I think now that he's back he will be back for good until his friends retire... again.. provided M9 invites him again.

He's an allstar, and he's said he wants to come back... so unless M9 are buldering idiots like G4... they'll invite him back.

I think now it'll be a matter of Akiyama will continue doing this until his eyes can't handle it anymore. Which hopefully won't happen for a long time. I want to see him at least clear Stage 1 again.
As for Bunpei, if only he can stay healthy, I know he's got at least a few more in him (and maybe another Stage 1 clear also).
