Feel free to merge this with an existing thread.. if there is one.. g4tv.com/schedule/index.htmlI was just looking at tonight's schedule.. 1/2 hour to show Stage 2 AND 3 AND 4? Yikes.. That's a lot of fast forwards.. Then an hour of crap.. then the wrap up show..

Presumably they'll put some (or all) of the second stage into that fourth episode.

Nah Levi and Nagano are part 4.. Either way.. that's.. disturbing.. if so.. that's a Network first to digest THAT much stuff in one show.

No no no no no.... I'm pretty sure the first part of 4th episode is the ending of Stage 1. It logically doesn't make sense if they digest about 6 runs per episode, especially in stage 2 and 3.

Where exactly is Ninjafest 4 in all that?

Well either way we know there going a head and speeding through stage 2, so they can cover as much of stage 3 and 4 as possible in the next episode.
....then again, they are g4

Where exactly is Ninjafest 4 in all that? My guess would be the wrap up show that's going to be an hour after the 5th episode. Considering it was held after Sasuke 22 and had David in it. At least that's my guess. I assume the preview show will have some of the Levi goes to Kagoshima thing they showed in Navi.

Man, I really had high hopes for this competition. I thought G4 was finally wising up.
See what happens when you're optimistic, kids? Disappointment.

Man, I really had high hopes for this competition. I thought G4 was finally wising up. See what happens when you're optimistic, kids? Disappointment. I gave up long time ago Maybe the announcement that Kevin is going to 23 and not Olivia (or at least he's training for it - yes I did a separate thread for that in the General Sasuke forum) is an indication that they might have to rework the programing? I mean.. they won't waste an hour following Olivia doing her stupid human tricks Besides.. we all know the reason why they fubarred this competition is because non Ninja Warriors passed stage 1. Given the hype in 20 where Levi was the lone stage 3 competitor and in 21 where 2 made it to the 2nd stage.. no American is left in the lineup so naturally the show "sucks" for G4. THAT I expected. It also coincides why they decided to push the airing back yet another month.

The layout of this competition seems to be pretty much identical to what G4 have done before. I'm not sure I see the problem.

The problem is that 3 stages will be digested in about 14 minutes (when you cut out the commercials..). That has never happened in any Ninja Warrior Episode. Today will be a first.

As I've already said, I very much doubt that will be the case. Episode 4 will be half stage one and then finish off stage two quickly, episode 5 will be stage three and final.

I think they should spend less time on stage one since we always see it and spend more time on the people who did extraordinarily well - stage 2 and beyond.

I'm tired of watching Levi. I'm ready for them to go back to Ninjafest 4.

I doubt they will. From what I caught, I saw a quick glimpse of when Badalight and I were standing in line (The shot was too fast to see who else was there), and then they showed my recovery roll from the end of the Jumping Spider... *sigh*
I wanted to see some full runs...
