It was changed because the of the three ropes being positioned in such a way that it had way too many technical problems (i.e. it being too easy to pull a Kong in 24 moment) as well as the nightmare of pulling the ropes apart should they get tangled. As cool as that Final looked, there was no feasible way to use it so it was scrapped. It's strange how there are no photographs of this variant of the tower, even in 18-21 broadcast it's concealed and darkened. I would like the sasuke expert user (ChiBiJKT48) to give a perspective on it.

Ah I see.
Well honestly it would depend on the time limit. If it was the same 45 seconds to climb 22.5m purely by rope then Nagano would’ve destroyed it no problem (don’t forget that Yuuji cleared 27’s Final which was the same height in only like 33.5 seconds), and I don’t think transitioning from rope to rope would cause enough of a delay to fail him.
Don’t forget, the guy spent 5 years training rope climbing for the Final Stage and was still in his prime being fresh out of a Kanzenseiha.

Gotta say Takeda in 21. He seemed so happy to be the first to clear something that seemed impossible back then.

I really like Kong's cliffhanger clears in 23 and 24, he used his height to his advantage and even did a cross to get even more distance.

Takeda in 21 had the most energy and enthusiasm and a real feeling of this is when the competitors have turned the side against the ruthless shin sasuke course.

Another one I would nominate is Hashimoto in 27. It went two tournaments unbeaten and he just coasted through it while almost everyone else failed it. It was a nice feeling and it showed that it could be done.

While it was made easier by less grip intensive obstacles and being placed as the 3rd obstacle, I still love that Hashimoto was able to clear the Ultimate Cliffhanger when no one else even made the jump to the 5th ledge before hand.

I would like the sasuke expert user (ChiBiJKT48) to give a perspective on it. Expert, LOL. Yeah, the Tower does exist, it was proven via several secret leaks. They tweak it numerous times, beginning with the seen three ropes version, then try to bring it to two ropes only as feared of getting Takahashi's incident in SASUKE 24. Eventually, the producers deemed it impossible to operate properly and hence, they just change it to the metal ladder, which then changed again to a wooden ladder we then see in SASUKE 22. Also, in the broadcast, they HAVE to make it darkened. This was due to the fact the Tower will only be built AFTER someone get to it, due to its easier mechanism as opposed to Nagano Tower, where we get a machine Spider Climb, where it will take ages to build it, which is why we saw it already built in SASUKE 5 *good eyes will spot those bright yellow panels behind Yamamoto when he rose after falling from Pipe Slider* and Yamada can train on it as seen in SASUKE 6, even though at that time, the new Final Stage is supposed to be unknown yet *and in the Ending of SASUKE 6, we saw Yamada walk past those bright yellow panels again*.

I'm going to go with an alternative option and say He-who-must-not-be-named in 32. It was a pretty monumental clear because it proved to all of the other competitors that clearing the UCCH was possible.
Oh yeah, another one is Kishimoto Shinya in 30. Pound-for-pound, that one's probably the most impressive Cliffhanger clear ever.

Kanno's in 31. What a freakin epic moment man. I really wish we had seen an asa clear, because that would've been just as if not more awesome.
