Many competitors wear/wore the same attire each time they compete(d). Which is the coolest?

Great idea for a post.
I have to go with Shingo because his gas station manager attire is so iconic, and I love how it transitioned from his blue to red uniform to show how his actual career was growing with his Sasuke reputation. Also how in later tournaments he started rolling up his trousers and putting his hat the wrong way round. That said, the other All-Stars' attires were also quite classic, but that's mainly because they each seemed to don a dress sense that was largely consistent throughout their tenure and unique to them: Shiratori with his athletics gear, Akiyama with his red shorts and crabs, Nagano with his all-black, and Takeda with his orange pants (Yamada's is admittedly kind of forgettable, he just went shirtless, but his physique on show also earned him the nickname 'terminator'). Shingo wins it for me though because there was just this additional novelty to him actively deciding to compete in his uniform, even though this comprised of grandad-esque beige chinos, as well as the infamous loss of his hat that occurs in most of his runs.
This consistency in attire I feel is something that's really missing from today's show, where competitors just tend to wear MoveSport t-shirts and shorts, and at best occasionally change up the colour every now and then, and that I think is a huge contributing factor to why the All-Stars were deemed as far more legendary and characterful than even people like Yuuji and Morimoto. Obviously, we've got some consistency like Hioki's blue shirt, Kawaguchi's Per-Adra t-shirt and surf shorts, and Tada's polos, but none of these really have the same impact or novelty as the aforementioned. Even Shingo and Takeda don't wear their iconic outfits anymore, and in Stage 2 everyone goes shirtless anyway.
Some notable mentions that I do think are worth some praise (and again, most of these were from earlier eras): - Ken Hasegawa for his camo ninja uniform - Kongu's funny haircuts and red tracksuit+tabi boot combo in the Shin-Sasuke era. What I especially found hilarious was that in his first three Stage 3 attempts (7, 16, and 18) he dressed completely differently. - Shinji Kobayashi's garbage man outfit. - Asa's 'tattoos' and pants (probably the only notable outfit from the newer eras)
Everyone else imo was either way too forgettable or too inconsistent for their cooler outfits to become synonymous with their profile.

Nagano in his black outfit always looked the coolest to me, as well as Takeda in the orange pants. I can definitely see an argument for Shingo tho.
Another pick I like it's Akiyama's tracksuit he wears when on the sidelines. Just looks cool lol

All-Stars... It was disgraceful when Nagano would wear a t-shirt instead of the tank top (i.e. Sasuke 16 and 25). Not to mention his gear in Sasuke 30's Stage 2; grey shorts and goggles. So, so wrong... Of recent times, Asa's look always stood out.

I know he wore white during at least one of his Final Stage attempts

This was a cool post.
I think that other than skill level/track record, wearing the same clothes throughout each tournament really helps people identify who you are. That really helped me when I used to watch Ninja Warrior during the G4 years when I was younger. I was like: "hey that guy is wearing orange pants, so he must be that firefighter guy!" And then if there was a guy that was shirtless, but had the same orange pants on, then I was all: "it's that other firefighter 'Yasushi' Yamada!" However, for tournaments where they actually wore something different from what they usually compete it, I sometimes couldn't tell who the person was unless the announcer says their name/occupation/track record/etc.
I personally like all the All Stars' attire: Nagano with the black tank top and black pants, Singo with the Maroon Polo and Khaki Pants, Yamada being shirtless with wearing either black or navy shorts/pants--it just didn't feel the same when he actually wore a shirt competing, ya know (SASUKES 18, 21, 26. 33, 38). I also liked Akiyama being shirtless with his same old Descente red shorts/pants (seriously, was that like his only wardrobe? lmao).

This isn't to do with a specific competitor but one trend I always found really cool when I was younger was how all of the Stage 2 competitors would switch to tabi boots for the Spider Walk; it just looked so out there and different. I actually bought a pair myself when I was 13 for that reason lol.

I always thought the mechanic coveralls that washimi and nagasawa wore looked cool.
Also liked when ryo would wear the baggy descente pants back in his earlier days of competing, guess they're not in fashion anymore ~

Yeah Ryo's old pants were quite impressionable for me too.
Looks like Shingo wins hands down though. Quite surprised Takeda got no votes except mine, and I would have voted for Shingo except I realized Takeda was getting completely shut out.
Nagano's black tank top and pants will always look cool, but you also have to have Nagano's skill and agility to pull them off imo
But yeah Shingo had style with his outfit like no one else. He just started rolling up his pants and it looked pretty rad on him. His new uniform pales in comparison, but at least he has a hat.

Yea, he was definitely the man when it came to attire, not to mention he always wore a cap (even to this day). I also liked how some (if not all) of the celebrities wore Descente attire, such as Yamada, Akiyama, Kane, Iketani, etc. I don't really get why though, but I always thought that was cool. Plus, there are non-celebs such as Yuuji, Ryo, and Shunsuke who still sport Descente when competing.

XD Also there's a reason why the hat theory persists.

Definitely Shingo. Honourable mention that no one has mentioned yet: Ragivaru Anastase
