I'm going with Shingo, because he always seems upbeat and supportive.
If not Shingo, then maybe Morimoto, because then I could sit in on his training sessions and be amazed.
And yes, I would treat them both as my personal trainer and hit them up for fitness advice.

PHHHHHHHHT I've bee friends with SO MANY of these ninjas since 2014! Where have you been? I STARTED with Shingo. He's really becoming just... a very best friend. The ninja I STILL want to be friends with is Jun Sato. I JUST became friends with Yoshiyuki Yamamoto a few days back!

As of rn, probably Hioki or Shingo. They both have bubbly personalities so I think I'd enjoy to be friends with them the most

Probably Jun Sato as he seems like one of the most relaxed competitors and also speaks fluent English (he studied in the UK for 5 years)

Shingo and Nagano are both cheerful people that seem to have great personalities... but the only one I'd probably be able to communicate with is Jun Sato. Given that he can speak fluent English.

Also, where do you interact with the competitors? Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or some Japanese social media site?

Morimoto seems pretty chill and down to earth.

Jun Sato has proved to be a pretty popular answer and I have to agree. Dude brings a fresh air to SASUKE and he has pretty much made up for the lack of Dreschel's speed on the course. He also seemed to be pretty shy and reserved when he started competing so it's pretty interesting to see how he changed during his time in England.
Would also put Jordan Jovtchev here purely because I have met the guy and I had the chance to talk all things SASUKE and life in general. He's a genuinely great and humble person with tons of stories to tell. Don't forget that he competed in an era where there were no sister shows for foreigners to come in.

It's Facebook for most of them. And actually quite a lot of them know some english. Shingo and Toshihiro mostly. And I outright MET Nagano in 2017 so we're close too.
