After watching Sasuke 38, I wondered what if Nagasaki competed from Sasuke 23 to 28? I think he might make it to the Third Stage more often, but I don't think he could have cleared the Ultimate Cliffhanger. Shin-Cliffhanger I think he might have a chance, but I'm not too sure. Let me know what you guys think.

If he managed to keep going and all that, I feel after a while he'll get the cliffhanger. Considering he managed the Cliffhanger Kai because of a replica he made for himself and Takamasa, he could upgrade it to its new forms.

In Sasuke Indonesia, he easily made it past what was effectively a Ultimate Cliffhanger-lite, and this was when he was 29 (where most people would say was past his prime in particular).
I definitely think if he’d competed regularly on Shin-Sasuke then he would’ve had a legitimate shot at the Final Stage. At the time he was at his peak (Sasuke 17-18), he was basically second to Nagano in terms of performances and he was so consistent (even after 6 years hiatus he immediately made it back to Stage 3 which says a lot). So I defo think he would’ve made it to at least the Third Stage in most of his appearances in Shin-Sasuke. Maybe make the Final in 23-24 because by that point the Shin-Cliffhanger had been figured out. He’d probs fail the UCH but that’s because at the time it was regarded as almost impossible (I remember seeing Sasuke 25 live and thinking WTF).
That being said, I don’t think him having competed during that hiatus time would’ve had much of an effect on his performances today. Hiatus or not, he would still prioritise his brother’s health and his family above Sasuke.

The reason I made this thread is because if Nagasaki retires or has a Shingo like performance, I just wonder about the amount of potential wasted, because Monster 9 for some unknown reason forgot about him or his brother Takamasa at that time before his stroke.
