Course was a lot tougher than I thought with ninjas falling on the lunatic ledges and spinning bridge. At first, I hated the lunatic ledges but even the number of ninjas who fell or struggled with the dismount, it appears to be a very technical obstacle for judging speed and momentum. If you misjudge or freeze before the dismount, it's a tough one to overcome.
Lots of great runs tonight, especially Dave Campbell. The power tower was fun too!

I really don't get how so many people fell on the Lunatic Ledges this week in comparison to last week. 5 people fell on it last week while 14 fell on it this week.

And the original version was even tougher. Originally both were foot ledges and you swung sideways then jumped and pivoted 90 degrees midair to grab the second

Honestly, episodes like this one perfectly demonstrate just how much of an underdog David Campbell is.
The show mostly treats him like he's just "there", always in the background, and not a main contender. But while the show sleeps on him, he's been putting on strong performances throughout his career.
From his early days as Last Man Standing in ANW 2-3, to eventually rising out of his losing streak to clear in ANW 9, to winning Sasuke Vietnam, to reaching the Power Tower last season, to putting in one of the greatest qualifying runs ever this season.
Never sleep on the Godfather.

David's run was exciting, and that jump was incredible. The sad thing is that probably would've been a DQ on Vietnam and maybe Australia. They have weird rules sometimes, especially Vietnam.
