So I have noticed that with the absence of anything interesting happening (until very recently), many people on this forum have made threads about their first Ninja Warrior/SASUKE experiences. If you competed in the NNL at any point in time, do you remember your first time competing at all? I remember a few things from mine, which I will share in the next post.

The first (and so far only) time that I have participated in any NNL competition was in November 2018 at Double Dragon Martial Arts in Kitchener, Ontario. The course was as follows:
1: Crooked Wall (without rope) 2: Rope Glider 3: Step Slider (with stationary rope) 4: weird combo of the Pipe Slider and the Devil Swing (x2) 5: Devil Steps + 6: That pipe obstacle from NWUK (I think) 7: Balance Tank (original version) 8: Chain Saw (only one set of chains) 9: that obstacle that Miyake failed in KUNOICHI 7 10: Cannonball Alley (the cannonballs were replaced by actual rocks) 11: Crazy Cliffhanger jump INTO A WINGNUT 12: Arm Bike (why) 13: Flying Bar but you were standing on the bar and had to hop while destroying your back
So my run was 7th or 8th in the order. Everybody who had gone before me failed on the Cannoball Alley x Rocks Thing. I easily got through the first 3 obstacles (nearly Shingoderped on the walkway to the Step Slider. On the Devil Slider (I tried) I got an awful push off the platform and ended up stranded in the middle (I lost my hat too) I ended up being able to get back to the platform and start over, easily clearing said obstacle. Even though I hadn’t done the Devil Steps in about 5(ish) years, I easily cleared that, and somehow completed the pipe obstacle I had never tried before. I felt myself losing it on the Balance Tank, and jumped super early, luckily catching myself on the edge of the platform, with my toe about an inch above the ground. Chain Saw was easy, and then I tried to rush through the Obstacle That Miyake Failed In KUNOICHI 7 (tm), and fell there. I left immediately after, and didn’t get to see anybody clear the Cannonball Alley x Rocks Thing.
