What do you think the hardest and easiest version of each of the 4 stages are? Note that I mean objectively, not relative to the time: i.e. if they were to replicate that stage in SASUKE 38/today, which do you think would result in the fewest clears? For example, SASUKE 3 had fewer First Stage clears than SASUKE 34, but it was objectively easier because of progression and lack of training for SASUKE at that time etc.
Here are mine....
First Stage: Easiest - SASUKE 1 (should probably come as no surprise) Hardest - SASUKE 19 (I still maintain that this First Stage is harder than the one they currently use for SASUKE 35-37)
Second Stage: Easiest - SASUKE 8 (no Salmon Ladder, way more lenient time limit than SASUKE 1-4: competitors were practically walking through the course) Hardest - SASUKE 29 (ridiculously low time limit, Backstream was a safety hazard that tournament)
Third Stage: Easiest - SASUKE 3 (Pipe Slider had no jump, no Cliffhanger, joke of an obstacle in the Hang Move, Pole Jump was easier than Pole Bridge imo) Hardest - SASUKE 33 (basically the same as today's except only two rests in the whole of the stage; beyond ridiculous)
Final Stage: Easiest - SASUKE 22 (I think the heavenly ladder is easier than the rope climb; lenient time limit) Hardest - SASUKE 37 (same as SASUKE 35/36, but with worse weather)

Also, who do you think, if any, will make it to the Third and Final Stage if the hardest versions of each tournament were the versions in SASUKE 38?

32 is the hardest one due to the fact it had 4 extra rungs on it's salmon ladder.

Easiest: SASUKE 1, 6, 3, 22.
SASUKE 1 had the easiest First Stage ever. Of course that was because it was indoor, so the obstacles were much closer. See the obstacle's gaps in next tournament, it was way further.
SASUKE 6's Second Stage is more easier than SASUKE 8. And remember that in SASUKE 8, there's rain that affect the obstacles, that is why they were given 100 seconds, and someone still manage to timed out. Beside, you already had Chain Reaction *took one victim* and a more harder Spider Walk *contribute in time out*. But SASUKE 6? Narrow? Even Tackle was better in that spot. The easiest and shortest Spider Walk ever? The only two who fail rush through it.
SASUKE 3's Third Stage is a joke. Pole Jump was straight jump only *glad they modify it in next tournament and it took one victim*, Hang Move were literally the most lame obstacle ever exist in Third Stage, and no jump in Pipe Slider.
SASUKE 22's Final Stage is the easiest one. Unattempted Metal Ladder was downgraded to Heavenly Ladder *will be much harder had they kept the metal instead of wood ladder*, and that additional five seconds was proven to be too lenient. The only one who fail it just experienced his first Final Stage.

Hardest: SASUKE 19, 29, 25, First Era.
No question about SASUKE 19. Only two clears from 100 attempts tell you everything.
The time limit in SASUKE 29 is a joke. Yes, Second Stage is a Speed Stage, I get it, but, 90 seconds to beat that whole stage? That's a joke. Only four clears out of 21 attempts, ridiculous.
Many would argue SASUKE 33's Third Stage is much harder because of Ultra Crazy Cliffhanger+Vertical Limit Kai+Pipe Slider combo, but, Floating Boards literally make everyone who attempt it struggle so much. Ultimate Cliffhanger should have been kept like this, not being modified in next tournament. And although I more prefer Pipe Slider as last obstacle, I would like to see how Flying Bars work.
The Final with most attempts. Yes, many of you will probably say Second Era, but that was more of Third Stage's supremacy. First Era is the one when the main show is Final Stage, not Third Stage.

Nah, I guess Metal Ladder and Heavenly Ladder is just a longer version of Hashigo. Refer to it: sasukepedia.fandom.com/wiki/Hashigo and you will understand.

SASUKE 6 I suppose could be the easiest Second Stage, but then the time limit was still pretty tight; Takeda would've timed out if he didn't absolutely destroy the Wall Lift. The Narrow is probably the worst obstacle ever only second to the Hang Move though. As for SASUKE 8, I didn't see Nakata's run so I don't know under what pretence he timed out, but Shoei was going insanely slowly; he spent like 30 seconds applying sticky spray, but he still cleared with like 10 seconds left.

The Final with most attempts. Yes, many of you will probably say Second Era, but that was more of Third Stage's supremacy. First Era is the one when the main show is Final Stage, not Third Stage. I don't agree with the last two. SASUKE 25's Third Stage was undoubtedly very hard, but remember that competitors only failed because they couldn't train for any of these obstacles as they were new. I think even if they'd kept the stage exactly the same (not watered down like in 27), someone would've cleared at some point because it wasn't impossible with training. Remember that that version of Stage 3 was used in American Ninja Warrior, and eventually we got two clears; comparatively, there is no way in hell that anyone would've got past that SASUKE 33 combo. Even Morimoto couldn't get past the first ledge of the Vertical Limit in 34 and he has an upper body like no other competitor. With respect to the first era Final Stage, remember that my question was if it was the Final Stage NOW then which would be the hardest? The only reason so many people failed from SASUKE 1-3 is because the Third Stage was way easier, and so we got a lot of Finalists who honestly kinda didn't deserve to be there, hence why so many attempts really sucked. Whereas now, any competitor would be able to climb 15m in 30 seconds without a doubt. A salmon ladder with 15 rungs is a different beast in itself.
