This might be less of a critique, more of a "You're doing everything wrong," but I digress So here's a sample video of me doing 15 pull-ups. I want to know what you think of the form (especially: is my leg movement legal?). It looks like a kip TBH, but I don't feel like I'm kipping when I do it. But I really don't want to lie to myself, so say what you like!:

Yeah you have a little bit of a kip, but hey your still doing pull-ups and it’s working more than just biceps , like forearms, grip, and some abs. Your out there training so it’s better than sitting on the couch wishing to become a ninja. You look strong so props my man 🤙

It's always nice to hear feedback from ninjas who've competed on the show especially, so that's great to hear. I'm starting a pull-up ladder where I go from a set of 15 pull-ups, to a set of 14, all the way down to 1 with decent rest between each set. I did it in front of a mirror (always fun to stare at yourself as you workout, but at least this way I can monitor my form as I go), and made sure to keep my legs straight. Using a bar for 15 pull-ups is obviously much easier than the ledge I used in the video above, so I thought it's a good way to work up.

Yeah that’s a good workout. Any hang time is good. What I have experienced from competitions and the show, is that to mix static moves along with explosive moves. So an example of this would be to do something like a cliff hanger(static) then a salmon ladder(explosive)/(lache). And to even get more advanced with endurance, go back and forth with these without dropping to the ground. Talk about a burn!

I have one where I do a deadhang for like 80 seconds with a pull-up every five seconds. I honestly came up with that long before I started reading workout advice and learning about the static/explosive idea, but I think it does the job? Cliffhanger to Salmon Ladder sounds a lot more fun (and a lot more draining!), if only I had them! I have my old ledges, but have nowhere to put them at the moment

that works too, dont feel like you have to have obstacles to train with either. You can do so many workouts at home just like you did in your video. My closest ninja gym is 2 hours away so I do 99 percent of mine at home. I do have some obstacles cause you do need that muscle memory.
