IT'S HAPPENING!!! Via user takeshi1 we have updates: The whole season was filmed luckily before all the COVID19 stuff, so we'll get a season this year! Release date unknown. BIG Spoilers below: They did not have an audience this season due to the coronavirus.
Rebecca Maddern was isolating for two of the heats so a guy called Shane Crawford is standing in for her
THEY HAVE A POWER TOWER!!! Unsure what it will be like, as Germany gives different prizes for winning the Power Tower Race as opposed to ANW, but my guess is it's gonna be ANW prizes.
Mega Wall is also returning, cash prize is unknown.

When one obstacle is just a bit to hard
Still it is good to have it back

Looks like an epic grand final coming up.
Interesting advantage to power tower semifinal winners, too much of advantage?

I don't have special insight into who might have won, just speculation from viewing the show.
I think the two top chances are Bryson Klein and Charlie Robbins. I put Bryson slightly ahead due to experience and we know he can do the stage 4 rope climb as he did it on USA vs World. Matthew Bowles would be my third pick as he does seem to be extremely strong even if it is his first season.
Others I could see doing it are Zak Stolz, Jordan Papandrea, Rob Paterson and Fred Dorrington.

I personally feel like this Stage 4 is a great "middle ground" between the basic, relatively easy "three obstacle format" found in many ninja shows, and the more extreme ones like in ANW and Sasuke.

Anyone know if the stage 4 climbing order was the same as the order that it was broadcast? (I don’t wanna get into a whole who’s the “real” first American Ninja Warrior debate, but I do want to know)

Hmm, they did not show the sideline guy interviewing Zak after his run, so I bet he didn't actually go first. If I had to guess.

IMO, Ninja Warrior Australia is now right up there with Sasuke Vietnam as "the best of the spinoffs" for their respective shows (ANW and Sasuke). Australia in general just really seems to have taken to the format.

WA are probably the favourites simply because Olivia Vivian will totally out class all the other women, although Victoria also looks very strong.
It will be interesting to see the different course.
