Have we got a source for the confirmation of Ninja Warrior UK 6? God knows I want another shot at getting on a Ninja show.
Slightly related, in another recent development, Dion Trigg's new ninja gym in Swindon, True Function, is hosting an international qualifier for NNL on Saturday 1st Feb with the top 15 men and top 15 women earning spots in the NNL World Championships 21st-23rd Feb.

Keep in mind, while there is an "application deadline", there is still nowhere to actually submit an application. You can only "register your interest".

It honestly seems like Ninja Warrior's brand, both for Sasuke and ANW, is cooling down on its expansion worldwide, which we were already seeing in 2018 and 2019. They threw a dozen+ shows at the wall, saw what stuck, and now the winners are getting season after season while the losers are dead in the water.
Unsurprising, but still a little worrying that we've already moved past the peak. Now, when Germany, France, UK, Australia, Vietnam etc... go, nothing will replace them, and we'll either see a gradual decline back to just ANW and Sasuke, or a complete collapse worldwide. Either way, ANW and Sasuke will almost certainly be the last holdouts. At this rate... I give all of these spinoffs 2-4 years, max.

Majority of the audiences are hooked on their country's version of Sasuke/Ninja Warrior and LOVE what they see. Some are dying (UK dropped in ratings a bit) but Ninja has a very large following in Australia, Vietnam, Germany, and Israel and some of these shows aren't even on their 5th season yet. We might get sick of these shows because they're a little redundant after a while watching the same obstacles in different countries, but to the 85%+ of each country's audiences that watch these shows casually? They're hooked and I don't see them slowing down anytime soon.

I know this thread is dead, but here's an update of everything to my knowledge:
ANW12 and NW France 5 have postponed their taping and will potentially not air a season until 2021.
The Tokyo Olympics have been postponed, so I imagine Sasuke 38 (which still hasn't been officially confirmed) will appear later. If it's a NYE tournament again, who knows. It's too early to tell.
ANW Jr. Season 2 is airing on Universal Kids.
NNL5 aired on February 21-23, crowning Joe Moravsky and Tiana Webberley as champions.
NWUK6 filmed a while back if I'm not mistaken, so maybe it'll air??? I know applications went out a long time ago but nothing past that.
If anyone has any other updates regarding Ninja and Covid, feel free to update!

If anyone has any other updates regarding Ninja and Covid, feel free to update! You are mistaken with Ninja Warrior UK 6. Not only has it not taped yet, applications and auditions never even occurred. All that has happened officially is a long, extended period of "registering your interest", with no way to actually put in an application. Apparently, as production/airing of Seasons 4 and 5 occurred later in the year than Seasons 1-3, they were unable to secure the venue in time for Season 6 to tape in Summer 2019. For that reason, prospective filming was pushed back a year to 2020, but with Covid and the prospect of potentially losing the show's airing slot, Season 6 is essentially just a big "maybe". There have been rumours and whispers, but nothing more.
