It seems that we've had some issues lately regarding spoilers surrounding the latest season of ANW. After some discussion among the staff, we have decided that there will be blanket changes to our Spoiler policy going forward.
---
New Spoiler Policy -- Effective 2020-11-06
Effective - Friday, November 6th, 2020
Condition - Upon failure of the community to uphold the Old Spoiler Policy (Effective August 25, 2019).
Permitted at all times:
All officially released content by the production or broadcast companies (TBS, NBC, etc), including but not limited to:
Except:
Not Permitted until after the complete airing of the entire show (Sasuke, Kunoichi, etc) or season (ANW, etc):
Any and all information obtained as a result of a leak, including but not limited to:
Any and all "Behind the Scenes" content that shows spoiler content such as who's competing, obstacles, results, etc. Typically, this content is posted by production crew, competitors, audience members, or others - on social media, blogs, etc - before, during, or after production and/or broadcast, but is not intended to be an official release.
---
No Longer In Effect - OLD Spoiler Policy (Effective 2019-08-25 to 2020-11-06)
All Spoilers must be within a designated "Spoilers" thread, AND MUST USE Spoiler tags on any spoiler content. Period, end of story.
There will be a separate "Non-Spoilers" thread to accommodate for those not interested in spoilers. If there isn't a separate thread for Spoilers or Non-Spoilers - make it, you don't need our permission to make the thread, just make sure it's properly labeled in the thread title.
With this in mind, the Non-Spoilers thread will have a blanket zero-tolerance policy towards any spoilers within the thread, even if you use Spoiler tags. All reported posts within a Non-Spoiler thread that contain spoilers will be deleted, and the user who posted the spoiler will be warned at a much higher rate than normally warned, and there will be no "first offense" freebies.
Should the community fail to uphold this Spoiler Policy going forward, we will move to the Alternative Spoiler Policy, detailed above.
